ICC T20 World Cup 2024

How shit must it be for you to be retired out.

Wasteman wasted 6 overs. Why didn't Wiese open?

Facing Archer and seam on this pitch was tough, though. That is why Curran was picked instead of Jacks.

Wiese got stuck into a Rashid over but he struggled like everyone else against the seamers.

Chasing 120+ on this pitch in the alloted overs was going to take a very, very special effort.

The attendances in the games I've watched have been pitiful. Sussex was a sell out today but here you can barely get 500 people to come to watch a T20 World Cup group decider featuring Australia.

Ps. feck that was a good over for the jocks.

The Aussies don't give a shite. We're probably going out.

Maxwell trying his best to concede as much as possible and gets a wicket on a full toss

Okay, whilst I understand that ultimately there's no incentive for Australia to go 100% in this,

I have never seen Maxwell, Agar or Mitchell Starc bowl this badly....ever.

Starc is literally the greatest LOI bowler of the past decade and he's bowling fecking pies.

This is really bad optics by the Aussies. You can put a half assed effort but this feels like purposeful sabotage.

Stoinis was one of their best bowlers this tournament and he hasn’t bowled at all while Maxwell finished his quota

It’s smart tbh, apart from the catches it’s not something that anyone can blame them for

Stoinis not bowling.
Their 3 spinners all bowling pies, full tosses and short and outside-off.
Starc bowling pies.

7 dropped catches. "Misfields."

I can name more things tbh, I am just saying that Aussies are smart because you can really prove any of this

Ellis is purposefully trying to bowl wides but the Scots batsman is actually hitting it

Hazlewood practically admitted it

Look I have watched cricket for 30 years and this is the worst effort from Australia I have probably ever seen but it’s just impossible to prove. If they genuinely are trying to lose then we will know soon

I have a theory:

They're going to try whack every ball for 6, get a RR of like 14, but get bowled out for like 120. Then they can say "we tried."

This is not the first time Australia are doing such a thing. They have fecked India twice in the past, one in 2012 t20 wc where all Aussie needed was to beat Pak and chase 147 or atleast not lose by 25 runs or more and they lost by 30 plus runs and India knocked out because nrr and then same year some months back at the triangular series where India would have been final had Australia defeated SL but they couldn't chase 100 odd runs in 20 overs with 7 wickets remaining. Ponting or clarke (don't recall who) said they rather play SL than India in the final.

I feel Australia made a decent comeback today and Scotland should be disappointed of not getting close to 200 after that aussie display.

We need an exorcist here

Because Rahul Dravid and Misbah Ul Haq have posessed the bodies of Head and Warner.
