You mostly get that with NZ Pak match. Nz have an awful record against them.
So, a England - Pak final beckons again in Australia.
Pakistan needed to bat first for NZ to have a chance imo.

Maybe. The one time that a side got into the tail though they lost 4 wickets for 8 runs in the last 2.1 overs.

Even I was wrong. This was a 180 pitch. Shocking performance from NZ.
NZ won the toss and chose to bat. Pak would have also done the same.

You are not considering how amazing Pak bowling was and how crap NZ have bowled today.
Match was over after PP by Pakistan. England just needlessly whittled under the pressure the other day. This pitch is also not as slow.
I think it was a poor choice. Pakistan's openers were under a lot of pressure based on their form.
So you have to put the onus on them to perform and get a big score. They might have crumbled over attacking or batted like they did in the rest of the tournament.
Hope they fix the semi tomorrow for the same
I should say I’m not accusing anyone of a fix. Just because the ICC would prefer that final doesn’t mean they’ll rig it.Nah, by all account this pitch is on slow-ish side so you can't risk facing Pak spinners in second half. NZ just needed to bat with more intent like they did against OZ. Willamson innings definitely stands out as a sore thumb now. Pak bowling was also pitch perfect.
