ICC T20 World Cup 2022

Kane Williamson is a disgrace. He's dragged new zealand far away from the attacking team they were under McCullum.

It's funny to watch the trajectory of both England and NZ after the 2015 world cup. They've both gone in opposite directions. Joe Root (who's a far better LO batsman) can't make into the England team. While Williamson leads NZ

Pak bowling is the best in the tournament. Any other side would have conceded 170 here but Pak kept it to 152. Top stuff.

No one says Pak is boring? Only some find the batting approach of their top order to be outdated. Even Indian top order gets the same accusation.
Yup, some on here have said Pakistan, India and New Zealand are a 'snoozefest', lack aggression and are boring.

It's simply not true, but there you go.

A disgrace? Pretty ridiculous hyperbole.

From batting perspective they are but overall no they are not

Mostly down to the talent pool though. Barely anyone lives in NZ. England have 10x the population plus have a habit of stealing good players from South Africa.

He's a shite leader (at least in the limited overs format). His teams play a cowardly brand of cricket and that's mostly down to the tone he sets himself.

NZ have next to no resources and consistently punch above their weight

He's led them to the world cup finals in both formats and they're again in the semis despite being smaller than their rivals and having lesser resources. A disgrace is way too harsh.

NZ batting depth is no where near close to Eng's. Even if NZ wanted to replace Williamson, they don't have some riches to consider for same.

Boult getting smashed. If Rizwan and Babbar find form here, then they will be fav for the title. Knew NZ would be an easy win in the semis.

England were 70-0 off 6 overs chasing 150 v Sri Lanka and it went to the wire.

Maybe they'll piss this but people far to fast to jump to conclusions.

Pakistan want this done. They don't need to take risks right now

Said it last game , Pak are peaking at the correct time. Only thing missing was babar and rizwan finding their touch.

The only demons in the pitch seem to be of NZ's making. You need more pyrotechnics at this level, and Pakistan will be providing them.

I expect something similar to NZ's shortcomings tomorrow with the slow, self-indulgent approach that India bring till late game Kohli/SKY show up.

With the added element of luck sprinkled in with South Africa doing their usual choke job too

Yup, Pakistan openers certainly a snoozefest   :wenger:

Great PP for Pakistan
They don't even need to force boundaries now. Would require a collapse to not get to the final

A near perfect PP. Just don't do what England did now (bar the winning part).

Openers finally showing some intensity with the bat in the PP.
