Hulk on the move again?

The agent of Porto star Hulk has invited offers from the Premier League for the Brazilian.

Teodoro Fonseca admits Hulk would welcome a move to England if he must leave Porto in the summer.

Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham have all been tracking the centre-forward this season.

Fonseca told TSF: "Hulk will only leave Porto for a major club with the goal of being the champions and it's not easy to find such a club.

"But he would really like it in England where the clubs pay players very well. But at the moment there no are firm offers in place."

= Mercenary. He can stay the feck away from here after that comment!

Would make a good replacement for Tevez if Tevez really leaves this summer.... Fits in the with the rest of the mercs..

What the feck are you on about, you now take a translated comment from an agent to say a player is a mercenary? Agents sure are, in regards to Hulk, he's been playing here for 3 years and I have absolutely no complaints of his behaviour, never goes to the newspapers whining about wanting to leave or wanting pay rises, and doesn't do tantruns. When he was unlawfully prohibited from playing in 4 months, on which the most logical response would be to tell Portuguese football to go feck itself his answer was that it had given him even more will to stay another season and prove his worth on the pitch. And he stayed, and he was the best player of the season.

That said, anyone likes being well paid, even though it's not considered polite to talk about it, don't put his agents words on his mouth.

Hulk is a mercenary because of that comment by his agent?

OK.

Bloody hell!

That's ok lads, he's been beaten enough already. That'll teach him.

We don't need another striker.

Oh and as for the money aspect, atleast his agent is honest.

There's nothing wrong with wanting a good pay packet anyway.

You're at the top of the profession. Why should you settle for less than you're worth when you make a big move?

Exactly - especially when the club make millions from parading you on TV and selling shirts with your name on.

Well said, I've followed Porto quite a bit this season and Hulk has been very impressive, but he's not really someone we need right now.

Clear racism against latin players continues it seems

Brilliant goal by him just now against Spartak. Terrific drive, pace, strength and finish.

It'd be a retarded thing for an agent to make up. Who is going to be interested in his player if he's telling the world that they're already rejecting that sort of offer?

If anything, it'll be that Russian club and Hulk probably Just didn't even want to consider a move there.

It was probably Liverpool that bid for The Hulk. Though to be fair they did think they were bidding for the comic book character, so they thought they were getting good value.

"I would be lying if I said no proposals have emerged to sign Hulk," Fonseca told Portuguese newspaper Record.

"I think the highest bid was 80 million, but Porto did not even want to negotiate."

Complete and utter bullshit.

Still, It's a strange thing for his agent to come out with. Particularly if Hulk is hoping for a bigger club to come in for him.

I agree. Could be lost in translation, the paper printing bullshit, etc. Who knows.

I think he is worth significantly more than €80m if he comes with image rights.

80,000,000 Rubles is £1.7m So perfectly believable.

£30m bid, £200k a week on a 5 year contract maybe?

80 Million would be a fair price for the Comic Book Hulk... but whoever bought him would have to deal with his obvious rage issues... Liverpool were hoping that Stevie G would help out in this regard.

Random crap, Hulk has a 100 million clause but I think anything above the 40m mark and he would be sold.

News:
Porto president Pinto da Costa would not sell striker Hulk for less than his €100million release clause, but admits the club have not received a bid for their star player.

Sky Sports

He must mean other than the 80 million.

It was Hulk's agent who said the 80 million bollocks, no one from Porto ever mentioned such thing.
