Horse racing tips

Ran an absolute cracker. I thought it could run a decent race but that was superb.

Pasaka Boy is running in the 5.35 at Royal Ascot tomorrow. Its 16s with Hills- reckon he could be a good e/w bet again?

Ascot looks trappy (as ever).
Jersey stakes has 4 French raiders, I'd go for Mutin who is unbeaten to take the prize but it's one to watch really.
3.05 Duntle looks a good fav at 7/2 (course winner). Three home contenders Thistle Bird, Dank, Chigun all look much of a muchness, Sarkiyla the danger.
3.45 Seems odd to oppose a Derby winner but looked as if Camelot was beaten fair and square by Al Kazeem last time up. Red Cadeaux a dangerous floater.
Hunt Cup is a lottery. Navajo Chief is value at 25s (the 9-4 will probably just do him, as 9-11 will do for Sweet Lightning)) but I hate backing anything with Fallon up.
5.00 I saw a stat that a big % of recent QM winners have been 11 in last two outings. Beldale has only won on soft, Ventura isn't up to this class which leaves Rizeena.
5.35 Straight into the 'too hard' basket. Get away early to beat the traffic time.

Duntle looks like the only decent bet on the card.

Tempted to back Camelot & Al at about 10/11 the pair. But comfortably up and will wait for another day.

Some real outsiders came in in that race- odd with different groups of horses at different sides of the track.

The outside beat the standside by about10lb due to ground/draw. I couldn't resist having a couple of quid on Navajo at 33 but standside had no chance.

This next one looks a real lottery looking at the form book. Can see a flukey punt making someone a stack of cash.

Rizeena was the tip based on the dodgy stats. Doyle's won the last two so will he go in again?DIT: bet is probably lay Beldale but odds high

Nice call- went with a couple of outsiders e/w. Ventura Mist looked like it had a shout at one point...

Ive got...

Coach House
Winsili
Rite Of Passage
Cape Peron
Chopin
Pasaka Boy

In an each-way lucky 63, they're all going to win!! :)

I'm going on a sun holiday if Simenon wins, flatmate and I have been backing him antepost from 16s to 12s, starting to get excited now that Rite of Passage has been withdrawn. The way things have been going he'll come 4th :(

Christ,w as looking at that early- in the meantime it has come in to 9/2.

16s was just too big but he was that price due to the fact he could have gone for the Queen Alexandra instead, we were told by someone in the know that Ascot was the aim so we took the fancy e/w prices. But now with Rite of Passage and High Jinx non runners it looks like a very winnable race. Here's hoping.

You got your e/w then. That was an epic finish. First time I have ever seen the queen smile.

Steady profit all the way (not more than £8, mind) having back three winners and two places out of eight.

Early shouts for tomorrow:
Sandiva
Battle of Marengo (nap of the week?)
Big Break
Albasharah
Disclaimer
Enrol (6/29)

Might even treat myself to a Heinz.

Starting to drizzle at Ascot now. Worst weather of the week on the Saturday. Typical.

I like the look of both Poole Harbour and Morache Music in the Wokingham. Poole Harbour is bottom of the weights and an apprentice takes a further 5lb off. He's been placed on all four starts this season and has wins at the distance to his name. Draw not ideal but with such a swing in the weights, he can go close. 25/1 is a big price.

Morache Music finished 4th in this last season off 2lb higher. CD winner and is drawn nicely in stall 23. The rain won't bother him and at 33/1 is another who can out-run his price.

Some drama in that last race at Ascot. Paul Hanagan dismounted mid-race and took a hard fall against the rail, and then the winning horse (Thomas Chippendale) had to pulled up after the post. Horse ambulance called out now.

Wahoo, am off to Newmarket for the first time next Friday.

The Fugue looks overpriced for the Eclipse at Sandown tomorrow. She was in the wrong place throughout in her pipe opener at Ascot and has claims of reversing form with Al Kazeem who is also worth covering with as the Ballydoyle horse Declaration of War is ridiculously short and makes the race from a betting standpoint.

I don't see it - she has 9lb to make up with Al Kazeem and 8lb to make up with Mukhadrem. It sounds like making excuses for beaten horses. Al Kazeeem is quietly improving into a decent horse and probably has more to come, I wouldn't be opposing him at 9/4 and Mukhadram is terrific value at 13/2.

No way was The Fugue even 80% wound up for the Prince of Wales, she'll come on a tonne for that run. I'd be amazed if she didn't finish in front of Mukhadrem.
