Hope we reshape our academy as soon as possible and start producing players.Kane for 40+,Stones for 30+,hype machine is real...

Who is to say we dont already have a young player in Wilson who could be that player if trusted....doubt we'll ever know.

I seen him do an interview on MOTD after a match last season & he said he's a die-hard fan or such & doesnt want to leave. I think he said his Dad is a die-hard Spurs fan too..

Ah ok, I think he's just played for Arsenal at youth level. Well, at least I think he has... I'm sure I saw in in an Arsenal youth team.

Edit: think that's him

Those are decent prices when you consider both are English and would probably stay with us for a decade, similar to Rooney and Carrick. Well worth the money imo.

Maybe but think you pay more for the fact that he is English then for his qualities.

Absolutely man. We cant keep signing foreign players & then have them wanting to bugger off to Real etc., when we've spent so much time & energy developing them into world stars.

That is a part of the philosophy

:)

Spurs would value him as highly as the dippers did Sterling. It'll take that kind of bid to make Levy blink.

No,no,never meant as dig at our current young players, just i wish in X years time we get our HG part of squad from our own ranks.

Perhaps. But that'll be next summer. He's unlikely to entertain any offer this summer. To make a statement, as much as anything.

He's an Arsenal fan and there are pics to prove it...?

Giggsy was at City before we signed him, but he was a United fan.

There's plenty of ex-United players that regard United as their favourite team - even though they grew up supporting other teams. Loyalties change with players - unlike with us fans.

I'm just going by that interview he did on MOTD, which he commented that he was very committed to Spurs & was a massive fan, so he'd no reason to leave as he had everything he needed..

United would be a massive opportunity for him of course, but maybe he thinks staying at Spurs is exactly what he needs right now?!

That's Harry Kane celebrating Arsenal's league triumph in 2004. Pretty sure he was an Arsenal fan. As you say, now he's a Spurs fan.

Could be the new Garry Birtles. One season isn't enough to warrant a £50m price tag. Real have got a cracking striker we ought to be trying to prize away instead...

If Arsenal get Benzema and we get Kane I think I'll make up a song myself for them to taunt us with.

Ogden follows that fake Marcel Bout account  No wonder he comes across clueless so often.

Yeah. Carrick's transfer, after this year, will have cost us 1.8M a year he's been here and Rooney's about 2.1M a year. And we could sell Rooney for probably around 15-20M next summer if we really wanted to.

Is this including the weekly Rooney wage bill he bent us over for and threatened to leave twice...

Yep, and Rio worked quite nicely as well. Good English or British Isles players are always a sound investment since they are likely to stay with us far longer than your average southern European or South American glamor signing.

Until a credible source says it then it's bullshit. I don't see why we'd go for Kane and this late. Spurs won't sell for cheap, especially now. If Benzema is actually available for a similar price then Kane shouldn't even be an option.
