Kane: "Tottenham are a big club"

Who is he trying to convince? The public? Himself? Spurs fans?

Are they really that big? They are not looking like getting into the Champions League anytime soon.
Severe trophy drought, lack of ambition, no CL football EVER... it's inevitable Kane will leave to a proper big club very soon, if not United this season.

Sorry @van der star, I couldn't do it.

Fixed.

But they're a top six side -- historically, they're a mid-level cup team. Where they're at now is about their level, at least since the glory days of Jimmy Greaves back in the early sixties.

Give him a break - he's a fan playing for the club he loves.

He'll be sold this summer.

Never seen that Arsenal pic before!

I did notice that when he was on Claire Balding's show the other day he talked (well, I say "talked"... whatever it is when he makes those noises with his mouth) loads about what a big England fan he was as a kid, but steered clear of anything similar about Spurs.

He went to the same school as Beckham, and she he was his idol. Would not be surprised if he was actually a United fan

Aww ... no need to get bitter just because Kane is beyond United's reach.

What a joke you continue to be! You've been promising us that Spurs will rise to dominate football for years, and even now you still think that United fans must be jealous of Spurs!

Spurs!

He should stay. He's at a big team for his age while being the leading striker and he's only dropped when he needs rested. It's definitely the best place to be in terms of his development at the moment. If he is the real deal then he will move next summer i think for a big deal. He'll probably break the transfer record for an English player surpassing Sterling this summer.

Pretty much this.

Kane, unlike Sterling, is playing it clever and knows where his bread is buttered. Not sure of him, not sure Levy would let him come to us, so doubt it will happen.

Will be interesting to see how he develops. If he turns out to be the real deal he could end up costing a world record fee.

If he stays just "very good" he may well be at Spurs for a long time. If he becomes world class, he will move within two seasons.

I don't know why anyone would take the risk this season, especially not at the prices quoted.

Staying there is the best thing this season for him. Also probably the smartest thing for potential buyers: he's gonna cost a fortune this season or the next, better off to make sure he's not a flash in the pan.

Reckon Trippier will provide a few assists for him this season

Why would he? Especially for a club that spent most of its entire season playing crap football despite not having any European football to contend with

We've been a disco-napping giant for the past 2 seasons, but we'll rise again & that's what players are drawn to. Kane would jump at the chance to join us imo, but f*ck payin the dough that it would take to get him, after only one good season. We could get Benzema for that dosh..

He's not worth the prices being quoted. He's had a great season with some fantastic individual performances but he's also looked average at times. The second season is always the test as Henandez found out with us. Who's to say Wilson couldn't perform at a similar level given a run in the team.
