Shearer's first 5 seasons were before the premiership started so he has a fair sum of goals scored in the top division on top of his 260 in the prem.
He also had a few 42 game seasons.

Kane is to United is simply not going to happen.
Actually, you seem to have become more and more about having the best English cheque book ... if you want the best English players go out and find them and/or develop them yourselves.
Every club has a figure.
But people only really talk about his PL record of 260, the others count no more than my goals in the garden on the PL leaderboard. Do you think he'll make it?Shearer's first 5 seasons were before the premiership started so he has a fair sum of goals scored in the top division on top of his 260 in the prem.
Somewhat ironic when we have Rashford and Lingard, Jones, Smalling, Carrick, Rooney etc. We have a lot bigger of an English core that we have helped develop from Academy or early in their careers , more so then other teams.
Yes, and in the case of Spurs and Kane-to-United that figure is £0.

He would sell for 0? what. Listen if United waved 150 million at spurs, he would be at united this summer.
I think that's utter tripe dished up by Sky who don't seem to think football existed prior to 1992. Goals scored in the top flight in 91/92 were no easier than in 92/93.
The top flight record is 357. Chelsea's own Jimmy Greaves (played a few games for Spurs as well).
Lol ... yes, and scored the bulk of his goals for Spurs in the 'few' (381) appearances for us.
But "he's one of our own"!
you said no figure would do it, I moved the figure, still think 150 wouldn't do it?3 hours ago you said £100m would do it .... but I guess Prem inflation moves fast these days

Yes, I do think that - for the reasons I gave earlier and more.
Spurs would sell for stupid money, but I doubt Kane would come to us.Jesus wept. You think they actually would turn down a 150 million bid lol
European Golden Shoe
Messi - 35 (33 appearances)*
Dost - 31 (30)*
Aubameyang - 31 (32)
Lewandowski - 30 (33)
Kane - 29 (30)
Dzeko - 28 (36)*
Suárez - 28 (34)*
Mertens - 27 (34)*
* one game left to play

Of course. We don't need the money and, as I've said, Kane is the iconic key to Levy's plans not just on the pitch but also commercially-speaking concerning the new stadium and a variety of new sponsorship deals.
Aside from anything else, Pochettino would likely resign if Kane were sold - and Levy won't have that.
Plus, you shelled out close to £100m for Pogba last summer. Kane is worth far, far, far more to Spurs than Pogba is to United. Ultra-prolific goal-scorers are almost priceless. Merely pretty good CMs are not.

2 goals in 3 games? He was injured for half of the group stage matches, and scored twice in the others.Whats his CL record like again?
You could just make your point but you have to have a dig don't ya. Can't help yourself.Of course. We spent 89 million? 150 is almost twice that price. Spurs would sell.
According to Wright and Lineker he is better then Benzema.
Lineker was even covering the CL semifinal when Benzema made a mockery of the Atletico Madrid defence in the Calderon.
