I wonder if the majority of Americans have guns. I have never even seen one, except my old gat gun when I was a kid.

It is possible to amend the constitution, thats something you might actually be able to do. The 2nd amendment is called an amendment for a reason. I dont understand why its viewed as something that cant be done.
In our history, only 1 amendment has been ratified and repealed.. The 18th Amendment that established prohibition.

She supports the right to bear arms and I haven't yet heard her make any distinction between a handgun and a semi-automatic - I'm pretty sure she doesn't own a musket, and I doubt George Washington foresaw modern weaponry. So although it states in the NT to turn the other cheek, it seems that you can deviate from the Bible, but not the Constitution.
