Granit "The Hacker" Xhaka | Likes his reds

Need him to see red today or else he will be attempting leg breakers on our players next week.

I still don't really know what he does, out of possession he's a liability and in possession he plays it very safe.

Reminds me of cleverley. To this day I have no idea what his job on a football pitch is...

I don't know about his Gladbach performances but he's been shit for Arsenal.

Xhaka atleast has the bollocks to put in a challenge even if it means picking up a red card or four. Cleverley didn't even have the bottle for that.

As far as I'm aware, he's meant to be a DLP, guy that starts attacks, a pirlo-lite to be more precise. He's not meant to be the guy that breaks things up.
At gladbach, he had another guy helping him with all the dirty work so he could do what he does best.
Unfortunately, at arsenal (like many others) he's being misused and has to do all the work himself.
More often then not, he's receiving passes facing our goal whilst been chased down by opposition, so he is unable to start anything and secondly our players further forward seem incapable of understanding off the ball movement so hard to pass to them, coz they'll just get dispossessed.

He needs someone to sit with him or do a better box to box job a la Vidal then Ramsey's who takes ages to come back once he bombs forward

he's a DLP starting attacks playmaker? and Pirlo-esque?

blimey...

I did say 'meant to be' lol, just answering peoples question about what he's good at. Can see why people would think hes shit though as if you take this season in England on its own then, well he's been shit.

Good news. Elney has been better than him this season, albeit you can't say he is a WC player.

aye, there's still a few options left that won't weaken 'em all that much

So this year Mr Xhaka has now smashed 3 30 yard screamers, let us enjoy them all

Bound to score a ripsnorter on Sunday.

Well called good sir.

I genuinely question if you watched the United Arsenal game with those comments.

I think United will create alot more and put in a much better performance at the Emirates than you lot did at OT.

Really?

A shot that took a big ass deflection and looped into goal is a screamer now? You need to go visit an optician.

Knew you'd be out from under your rock today.

Really bizarre bump though as he was poor again and only scored from a heavily deflected shot that wasn't even going on target until it looped up off Herrera.

Better than Pogba though isn't he? And Xabi Alonso..

Jesus :lol::lol::lol::lol: @WackyWengerWorld

The one against Nottingham Forrest took a deflection too. But you have to take the shots too in order to have a chance to score. His shooting is not the problem though.

I saw nothing to change my view either - dreadful & an accident waiting to happen on the red card front

It was funny to hear the 'expert' Jamie Redknapp completely change his view based solely on a hugely deflected goal - went from colossal disappointment to "well it's his first season and now he's shown us what he might do next year" blah blah blah. Never underestimate how little these people actually understand football past goals.

Even a deflected goal is more than anyone in United's shirt managed today. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
