Gaming Grand Theft Auto V | 2022: GTA+ (monthly GTA Online subscription) announced exclusively for PS5/Xbox Series

My Chop died too during a frantic shoot out in Franklin's new pad. I was popping the odd policeman that came in and he went charging out and killed about 5 of them before being popped itself. It said he was dead but 'would be available again in a few hours'

Does anyone know what's supposed to happen in the random event when a bunch of pipes fall on truck and there's a guy stuck inside?

I panicked and shot him in the head. Did anyone else approach it differently?
:lol::lol:

I got a steam roller and knocked the pipes out of the way and he ran away before the truck exploded. Said thanks and gave me feck all, the useless prick. A bullet between the eyes sounds like much more fun.

For those that have started Franklin's missions for Lester...

In the first assassiantion mission, how much did you invest in Beta Pharmaceuticals and how much of a return did you get? I bought $170,000 worth and a little while on they only worth $140,000 if I sell them now. I thought it was a dead cert to be a money maker!

I moved the pipes and the game kind of froze. He stood there like a spare prick and the truck blew up and he died.

I tried to find BP on the stock but couldn't.

Come on.. nobody wants to share their stats? :(

Shameless bump!

Phew, was worried I might have missed something decent. Sounds like I made the right choice.

Can't wait 'till I get out of work in roughly 23 minutes. Then a 2 & 1/2 hour bus journey and my weekend of doing nothing other than watching sport and playing GTA will commence.

Is there a casino? Tried making money on the stock market but I haven't a fecking clue what I'm doing.

Yeah, but it says 'Coming Soon' on it - probably open up for the DLC, maybe the Online.

How did you get BETA key btw, whoever it was who got it. You lucky, lucky bastard!

Just done Trevor's ship heist. The biggest anti-climax, brought me back to Niko getting Elizabeta's coke on IV, then having to give it back to Michelle.

I want to play more and get this finished but my eyes only manage two hours at a time.

Depends on what missions you do. Listening to the dialog, you will know what companies will gain. Lester's missions especially. Bawsaq only. You can feck with the market too, buy shares in a car dealership/food chain and blowing up the competitions places. Shares rise in your favour.

I couldn't be fecked with the app. Anything that makes me play some shitty mini-game on my phone outside of the actual game is not worth it.

The Lester missions with Franklin are awesome. I have made more than 1 million with those missions!

I lost a fortune on the first one!

Edit: Ni I didn't, wasn't quite sure I was doing it properly. Made quite a lot but I could have double if I'd sold a bit earlier

Just sell off the shares as soon as you complete the assassination.

GTA Online beta has started, just created an online character and jetting into the city about to feck some shit up!

There's a watermark on the screen with my gamertag so can't do much regards pictures.

I think I just spotted big foot in one of the missions!

Is the golf mini-game any good? Haven't tried it yet but I quite enjoyed the tennis one. Fairly simple but had what it needs to be decent enough when it's only a side activity.

I completed the assassination, went home to save. Woke up the stock had risen. Went back to sleep and when I woke up again, the stock had risen even more and I decided to cash out. Doubled the money on that one.

Work -> GTA -> Sleep -> GTA -> Work -> GTA -> Sleep -> GTA

Definitely preferring franklin and Michael to Trevor so far. He's just too much of an asshole.

Visually this game is lovely. Huge jump from gta4.

What car is everyone using? I found a Banshee and I just pimped the shit out of it. Maxed everything I could. It's now fast as shit and can take one hell of a beating.

I just played it. It's ok actually. Nothing special just decent and 9 holes is enough.

He's really packing some concealed heat...

Online is surprisingly lag free. Bit messy with everyone trying to kill each other with little or no weapons but once crews get going etc it should be really good.

Got the Bugatti.

Look close to the hairdressers and clothes shop near Michael's house. It's parked in a little layby on the main road.

haha that is so fecked. I've just spent the past year in LA and on Rodeo Drive there is a guy who owns, i think restaurant, and he has a Bugatti parked outside everyday. Reg is the same as the shop. Lots of tourists take pics with it. They have blatantly just thrown that into GTA.

Theres a number of little things that have given me some nice warm 'nostalgic' feelings of my past year in LA. Stuff that you need to have been before to catch and understand
