So I went to most stores in Krakow today, none of them have it yet but it may be available on Monday or Tuesday. My favorite store pissed me off because they were supposed to have Assassins Creed: Brotherhood and new NFS for me in place yesterday, then they postponed until today and today they told me it won't be available earlier than Tuesday - great really, what am I supposed to do with them when I'll already have GT5 then?
I wouldn't both with NFS until the price goes down now, is it actually going to get played with the behemoth GT5 sitting on your shelf?
I'd kick up a fuss and get my money back for NFS at least.
I don't pay for them, I exchange them - RUSE for NFS and New Vegas for Assassins Creed, I only have to pay a fiver to get the swap. Trouble is that the store is run by a rather nice lad and it's not his fault that his boss screwed this one up, so I won't really bother complaining, I just told them I won't buy GT5 there because they're unlikely to have it next week at all, or any other big releases for that matter because I'm too impatient. I also deposited my games yesterday because I couldn't bother carrying them with me around all day.
Game is leaked online now, 19gb and unplayable atm at least. Considering getting another PS3 so I can play this and Black Ops.

How can you be tempted by something that will not run - if it's compiled with the 3.50 SDK, it's not going to run? Also, this should be a dual layer BD, 19GB does not compute.

Hey Marchi, I've been playing with the F1 2007 again this morning, sticking it around Daytona over 10 laps in a 16 field (starting 8th) - can only get up to 5th
I'm not very good at this tuning business. I'm using R3s, downforce set to the lowest possible setting - so it reduces cornering grip and acceleration, but gives highest top speed. As you don't even need to brake on this track, probably the best setting? What else can I change - even the gears will not do anything will they, as you're at full wallop all the way.
Maybe I'll increase the number of laps.

Increase downforce slightly. Probably 5 or 6 clicks. Being and F1 it also creates drag regardless of levels. Put max speed on the car at about 350 and see where it tops out at.
Ok, I'll give it another go. 16 of those Ferraris hurtling around that oval is quite a sight in the replay. I don't think using the controller is helping, I'm constantly flicking the stick like a bean.
For the race set ratio levels to 370, run downforce at 80 and 120.

At the time there was confusion . What do you mean 19gb does not compute? Are you saying the size is wrong and this is probably porn? I'll buy it anyway as online will be very nice
It seems that the size is right - it's a single layer disc, as a lot of the stuff such as the museum, track introduction videos,, etc. they've left off the disc and will need to be downloaded when they turn the servers on.
Have people started getting the game elsewhere? I was more than a little surprised my brother got it yesterday.
I've not even looked, mine is coming with a new PS3. Hopefully I'll have it by the end of next week.

What's with the Signature edition anyway, it looks crap to me - you're basically paying £100 more to get a 1:43 scale car that you could buy for £5, and a wallet that will make you look like a spastic.
It is pretty crap to be fair... £130 for the game game with a metal case that will get put on a bookshelf, a toy car, a wallet, usb key and key fob. Oh and a strategy guide... for £130...

Bought the collectors edition although now i'm wondering why. Not really worth the extra $50. As for the sig edition. I can by a 1/18th scale model SLS with a game for cheaper then the sig edition. A toy car with Gran Turismo on it is not worth $200 more.
think i'll get from game as don't have a good record with shopto, though to be fair they're decent for refunding. The money ppl waste on the editions can go towards wheels
