Graeme Sourness | Retires from “punditry”

He’s absolutely raging. His face after the Mourinho interview.

*sniggers* He's furious with Mourinho.

Carragher putting him right by bringing up Benitez employing similar strategies.

It just show's how much of a bitter cnut he is when even Jamie Carragher is calling him out for talking shite

I've rarely seen a pundit that bitter after a game on Sky.

What's hilarious is that Carragher was disagreeing with everything he said

What a mug he's making of himself. Saying that Mourinho has got away with it today because we've won but what about all the countless trophies and victories he's had while playing with his teams this way.

On a side note, Carragher is a really good pundit, made him look like an imbecile there.

It is. I don't know why anyone is complaining. It's wonderful.

He's an absolute parody and even Carragher is making him look like a bellend. I'm just sitting here laughing my arse off.

He cant beat Neville today though.
He gave 2 utd players a red card apiece and a few pens thrown in as well.
We get it Gary, you're such a professional.

Carragher started fuming then realised that Sourness was embarrassing himself.

Holly molly, the bitterness is just insane. Not a proper shot on target from Liverpool and he talks what's wrong with Mourinho.

"Everyone is obsessed with possession stats but there are other ways to win a game"

He just said that, after obsessively moaning for around 5 minutes about United's lack of possession.

He contradicted himself a fair few times.

Agree with him regarding keeping the ball better. The pressure we put ourselves under in the second half could've been alleviated by keeping the ball and individual players not being dispossessed so easily.

I also agree re his comment on 'controlling the game' - you can't be in complete control and concede that many corners - that itself implies there was a degree of unwanted pressure. I know Mourinho said in his interview that we were under complete control, but even he will look back on that second half and will want a far greater balance between defence and attack.

If Sky Sports' producers have anything about them, they'll keep record of these comments for a few weeks' time when he's screaming to anyone who listen why similar incidents aren't a penalty against Liverpool.

Loved how he also goes on about not knowing where the Lukaku criticism comes from....ALL he's done recently abut Rom is whinge about I'm not doing enough particularly against the top teams.

I know there are allot of ex Liverpool pundits who constantly take a dig at united but some are ok like Carragher. Graeme Souness however is the most bitter and salty pundit I have ever seen, his bias is hilarious!

He claims everything is a pen and gives us no credit saying we played in the wrong spirit, it's funny but also annoying to watch.

It was funny to see Teddy and Carragher basically disagree with everything Souness had to say...
