Where is the Tory avalanche? Was meant to come strong at 3am.
It might not come .... Corbyn might do this .....

And i remember you people saying that David Cameron was the worst prime minister ever.

I had my doubts (which you can freely corroborate), but i never thought May would be both stupid and authoritarian.

Will May go down as a worst PM in history?

Amber Rudd was forecast to go by YG. Not good if she holds on.

Will May go down as a worst PM in history?

Almost certainly if she resigns, on account she'll only ever be remembered for one big mistake she made. Which is a magnificent thought.

It's an amazing night, but looking at what's left to come in, best case is tories only get to 310 as far as I can see.. but likely 315-320.

With regards to a 'new government being formed' when exactly does this happen?

If May gets a Majority of 50 seats (for example) is it formed instantly?
If she gets a minority, when is it formed?
If she gets a tiny majority but decides to stand down (or the party call a leadership election) when would it be formed?
Analogy:

May puts do forward a bill saying "make me PM".

Only MPs vote, and 100% along party lines.

Any combination of >50%, you win.

so we've had corbyn claiming tonights a succes, may claiming its a succes and sturgeon claiming is a success.......

in a weird way to they have all lost!

what a weird night!

And a gif of her swallowing a fish.

Fantastic backbencher. Still think a cabinet position wouldn't be a great move.
nah. She'd do well o the front bench. She just had a mare in that interview because she was obviously unprepared and tried to wing it and probably also sleep deprived and so kanckered.

I've followed her for many years. She knows her shit, is passionate about the working classes and non-whites and loyal to Corbyn. If Labour won, Id make her home minister, Foreign Minister or chief whip.

Boris is now the favourite to be the next PM

Well him, Javid or Heidi.

The latter would be more suited to a worst-case scenario, where the Tories spend years picking away at Labour's mistakes.

If Ruth Davidson had a Westminster seat i might well tip her as a contender.

Granted, i have rather a terrible record on these things, and a soft spot for Allen.

Labour gain Warrington South from tories.
