...sorry, I thought DOTA made that projection using the data from the RedCafe poll above. In which case people might be shy as votes in these polls are sometimes publically visible? :nervous:

EDIT: not this time mind.
I can neither confirm nor deny whether this is an accurate description of my methodology.

ow he may of??
but most internet polls are anonymous..... i just think the main issue witht them is those kind of polls arn't really filled in by a large part of the core conservative vote

Yes, that's a very good point.

It's the main reason why our feeds on Facebook seem to be full of Labour supporters, because most people on FB are a little younger.

How many events does Corbyn do in a day? Is he campaigning in Wales and in the marginal seats in the English southwest?

Need to do well in the marginal seats unlike in 2015. Problem is that the UKIP vote that has collapsed will likely go to the Tories.

Need to get some seats from the SNP as well. Never mind any post poll deals.

yeah exactly, so i doubt the polls are as close as is been made out.

What is worrying is if you think during the last election the polls had labour and conservatives neck and neck, and most polls now have conservative in the lead..... just makes you worry just how big their lead really is!

I actually think it might be a bit closer this time than people are thinking.

Did you know, the ICM Poll which has Labour so far behind doesn't take some younger voters into account because they don't believe they'll even turn out and vote?
If those youngsters actually go for it, it'll be quite a ride on Thursday night.

My friend stole my (slightly shit) R2-D2 drawing from my DeviantArt and used it to troll me by setting it to his profile picture on Facebook.

I'm still not voting for Jezza.

i hope your right, but think your in for a bit of disappointment, i think its going to be a landslide to the tories, the polls still have the issues of shy tory voters and large chunk of them been done online.

but w'll see.

how u expecting the lib dems to do?

Ahh I won't be disappointed, I'm going for the Lib Dems.

To answer your question, better than last time surely! Maybe 15-20 seats? :)

I feel like we need a range of gif options for after the exit poll is released. Big Tory majority is obviously this one

It's the Alternative Woodwork League part 2.

I dunno why they keep sending her to pro-tory places like LBC & Sky. For all her obvious flaws, she's on a hiding to nothing.

This is what is needed to carry out the Tory plans for controlling the Internet.

It's written by an expert coder for Last.FM based on the proposals.

 Not a chance that any of those could/will be implemented.

If they actually were, then (all going to plan) as a Computer Science graduate in 3 years time I will have no option but to leave the UK and I certainly wouldn't be alone in that. The skills shortage in the industry will hit the economy hard.

Another thing worth noting is that security will actually be reduced in the long term and quite significantly as that will create an environment where it's difficult if not impossible for future security experts to grow organically and form their skill sets.

Most of the best minds at GCHQ are where they are today because they were able to play around with security vulnerabilities at home and at University.

Also it's worth noting that it's likely that in time new solutions to getting around the restrictions will occur and they will be at Step 1 once again.

Good luck in your degree Pexbo. Where you studying?

They had some Tory know-nothing on radio 4 yesterday morning blathering about internet restrictions, like a caveman explaining quantum computing. She either knew less about the interwebs than my dog or was simply exploiting the deaths to demand further Draconian powers.

Removing phones (as in the article) from every person entering the country was something the host called her out on too.

Thanks mate, I'm at UWE, first year is out the way now just waiting for one result to come in and I can relax for the summer!

Bad news if the weather's like this on Thursday... torrential rain in the South this morning.

Forecast says rain. Of course it does, because we're not allowed to have nice things. Pisses me off that the rain won't stop the 65+ brigade, but will almost certainly put off the under 30's..

That's just silly from Survation. They should make such obviously wrong assumptions explicit and heavily caveat their results.

When their polls become headline news, it's irresponsible as much as anything else.
