Not that it as at all top of the agenda but you would think someone in the Tory party would have gotten Theresa a stylist by now !!!

Looking at the polls now I have to ask where we would be if the PLP had supported the democratically elected leader rather than trying to sabotage his chances from the get-go?

There probably wouldn't have been an election in the first place. Can you imagine the look on Jess Phillips' face if her constant media appearances not only didn't get Corbyn out of the Labour leadership but indirectly helped him get into No.10?

Just looking like she isn't trying to give someone a blowjob in every picture she takes would help. The images make my little man want to disappear inside me every time I see them.

Lets hope. 2 weeks more and we might have turned it around enough to get the win. I think the turn around has come too late. I hope I'm wrong. As of now a hung parliament would be a major victory.
If I was Corbyn I would work with Wales and Scotland to keep the Wicked Witch of the South West out of office.

You can form a government without any deals, Thornberry said today that they'd put forward a Queen's speech and it would be up the the likes of the SNP to either vote it through or allow a Tory government to form. It's a nuanced point that didn't really work in 2015 but is all they can really say at this point.
True, but time after time there could be deals done with the SNP or whoever which might end up detrimental to a Labour government. If they are absolutely dependent on the Greens or Scottish and Welsh nationalist parties they may have to agree to things which could easily be portrayed as negative for the rest.

There's a danger that the tactic of "Well, it's your fault, you voted the Tories back in" will lead to more chaos, which during the Brexit negotiations could lead to disaster. Blaming someone else for everything, including your own failings or miscalculations, is a very dodgy strategy in the long term. You can see this happening in Spain between the PSOE and Podemos.

I don't disagree with the idea of a minority Labour government, but they should be careful how strongly they commit to or refuse to do things. A U-turn is a U-turn no matter who does it.

Trouble is, people didn't believe it in 2015. But people also thought it was a realistic outcome then, don't think it's filtered through that it could happen this time yet.

The other difference this time:

The Tory strategy has been "it's either Corbyn or May". And people seem to be saying (at least more than expected - even if the Conservatives do end up getting their healthy majority) actually we quite like Corbyn.

Despite two years of constant demonisation Corbyn doesn't seem to be complete electoral poison. I don't think you can create a narrative in one week that turns people off of Corbyn because "he might have to work with the SNP"

They've already blown their load with regards to fear mongering.

Christ Farron was awful in that Neil interview.

Bear in mind that just prior to 2015, YouGov had Ed at 35% favourable (-21 net). Corbyn's currently at 30 (-28 net), a lot higher than he has been, certainly, and just rewards for a very good campaign showing, but he's still not particularly popular with the public (and I don't think Ed had it much easier with the press). I think people in marginals particularly do think about the likely resulting government, it certainly came up in vox pops in places like Nuneaton post-2015, so it could well happen again. But you're also quite possibly right that this his already been priced in for voters.

Don't underestimate the Tories and their press, there's still time to sink to new lows and always new lies to peddle.

Very true. Corbyn will have some involvement in Princess Di's death before the weekend is over if the polls keep closing.

Or how he accepted the 30 pieces of silver, didn't see the iceberg, or how he was the man on the grassy knoll.

Theresa May is a fecking disgrace. She calls for an election and then doesn't even have the decency to face the country in televised debates. Her only public appearances are with 20-30 stage managed factory workers in factories. Cringey.

If the Tories win, they'll get rid of her as soon as possible.

Bloody difficult women......in front of the public

I'm glad our strong and stable leadership is speaking out against that flapping great cnut Trump and his attempts to destroy the future of the world.

SkyBet have Conservative to win most seats but no majority and Labour & SNP to form coalition @ 28/1

Might have a few quid on that!

feck off May you spineless cnut.

She has been directly lobbying EU leaders to renegotiate on behalf of trump, that is why merkel included us when she said US admin can not be relied on.

Although he is far more polite than I, corbyn has basically already told trump to feck off, they even hinted they would cancel his visit.

This won't play well for may either.

The Telegraph have put out an article suggesting Trump is right, it's all just burocracy and a stealth tax.

Basically they've second guessed people holding it against May and are downplaying the dangers of Climate Change. I hope the Barclay Brothers slip out their helicopters and snap their necks. Absolute cnuts.

Nature waits for no one. Absolutely disgraceful to ignore its wrath but the two old fools in charge of the special relationship don't need to worry about it. They'll probably won't live to feel the consequences.

You missed the Sky News Q&A i'm assuming.

Seriously who votes for these cnuts.

No wonder they're mostly silent. You just wouldn't admit to it would you.

Voted for them in 2005 and 2010, by which point the Labour regime had stored up many grievances among the electorate. Might do so next week, might not, i'm mulling idealism vs practicalities.

When did the UK withdraw from the Paris Agreement?

Because we'd likely end up with JC as Prime Minster and Nicola Sturgeon as deputy as part of the deal.

The country voted for Brexit which JC would have to deliver and Sturgeon would drag her heels at every turn, then, once it's all over and she doesn't get what she wants will call for a second Indyref for Scotland, leading to more economic uncertainty

I'm genuinely unsure as to whether May can function as PM. I don't mean as in, "I don't like her," I mean, as in, she genuinely falls apart when someone even looks in her direction. Even if they're within her own party, and agree with her on everything. I'm genuinely baffled as to how she'll even remotely negotiate a deal on Brexit.

Doubt it would be a formal coalition, more something along the lines of confidence and supply to get budgets and key legislation through. But Sturgeon would almost certainly demand a second independence referendum as the price. Though should be said again, even on those very optimistic looking YouGov figures, they'd barely be able to scrape enough votes together to get a majority of one or two with about three other parties.

Kind of unsure how to vote? SNP or Labour? Could be close in my area. Think I might have to decide on local issues in the end. Probably go SNP but could switch. Potentially. Maybe.

Whoa this is a big deal! I did not think you'd be tempted back so soon. Your MP been underwhelming?
