 But on a online poll where people vote anonymously? I don't understand why they would lie?

They probably don't like admitting their cnuts to themselves either. Or to a non-sentient web domain.

Thornberry interrupting the interview...

Thornberry is class.

She did a panel a last year when the nightclub Fabric closed(It's back opened again luckily)and the whole panel and audience which mostly included DJs and young people were rightly slagging off the local residents for complaining about noise and Thornberry actually stood for the local residents and made a rather strong argument. Really impressive and not something you would expected of a politician.

Lucas, Farron and Robertson came out of it best. Lucas was probably the outright winner, but it's hard to see how that will really matter: another Green seat maybe? On a national level no, not really.
I do hope so. It'd stop Caroline Lucas repeatedly sending guilt trippy emails to me complaining that she's lonely.

you got to say that if the conservatives win the election, considering their leader is beyond unlikable, has basically no policies and changes her mind every 5 seconds, and has basically avoided answering any questions...... then their is something fundamentally wrong with the British people

Talk about a partisan audience, pretty much 100% pro-Labour. And I thought the BBC were supposed to be anti Corbyn

I'd argue that Labour voters appear more vocal because they're not ashamed of themselves, who they vote for and what they stand for.

We know this is true though.

Pollsters problems last time weren't about people lying about who they were voting for, it was how representative their samples were (or weren't). They were getting too many politically active younger people in particular.

Not when the mass-media have convinced them that what you said describes the Labour leader.

?

I'm not trying to have a go(Sorry if it came across like that)but there was a clear differences in behaviour, for a start one of people up there was just being a racist for an hour.

It wasn't just in reference to tonight's show, it was more about how politicians in general conduct themselves. Nothing wrong with being passionate and wanting to get your point across but when you don't even have the decency and respect to let the other person finish their response, or constantly resort to quite frankly immature and tedious remarks, sorry but I find myself switching off.

It's looking OK for my electorate...

fecking hell I'd only just got home from a festival when it was starting, that's only a 10 minute walk from me and I didn't even realise it was happening :(

Fair enough. PMQs is one of the most off putting things around.

I drunkenly signed up to the Lib Dem mailing list whilst pissed off (and pissed) last year and keep getting emails entitled: 'Can we count on you?' and the weirdly needy 'Hi it's Tim, I hope I make you proud tonight'.

I don't have the heart to tell that Email subject line that they can't count on me.

Just started watching now. I'd forgotten how boring Leanne Wood's voice is. Oh, and where's Sturgeon?

Hopefully the polling companies have learnt their lesson on this one.
My constituency is their no. 1 target and they've got no chance, imo. I just wish they'd picked somewhere else. Would like to see them take another seat or two.

Robertson is their leader in the HoC so I think that's fair enough. I think she turned up in 2015 though, didn't she? So it's a bit of a change from them.

She was in the ITV debate too.

I always thought of the BBC as the champion for telling the news without any bias and only facts. Some of the stories and reports I've seen over the last few days have actually scared me. If the BBC can't cover an election without backing a horse who is left for us to trust with giving us balanced news?
Is there such a thing anymore or was there ever such a thing, maybe I'm just being naive

Ah ok. She aint getting pilloried like May though.

Spot on - agree fully

So BBC News saw fit to broadcast Rudd saying Corbyn voted against "anti-terror" legislation but not Corbyn's reply that The Appeaser and David Davis did so too. Where did Ubik get to?
That's appalling - but I'm not surprised. BBC not be trusted anymore I don't think. Scary scary times.

Can't see how anyone thought Rudd did well. Came across as thoroughly unlikeable.

Farron was entertaining but not a man of substance, Lucas and the SNP guy were brilliant.

Nuttall was a shambles but effective in that he helped provide a very useful shield for Rudd to hide behind.

Corbyn was solid, not brilliant but not bad.. only area he struggled was immigration, where he gave a fantastic second answer on managed migration but was wishy washy on the first question.

Welsh lady was pointless.

Robertson is the Westminster leader. Think it was also tactical as his seat is under threat from the Tories.

Nah, must be some mistake. BBC is lefty as feck supposedly.

Dunno, maybe I was the one pointing out that she'd done so in this thread yesterday.

I'm hopeful that Nuttall managed to appeal to his core demographic.

We all know there's some right troglodytes in this country, it's helpful to have that vote split between two parties.

That makes sense. Debating BBC bias is like discussing referees- both sides will always feel like they get stiffed.
