Absolutely agree and have thought the same. I could be way off the mark here but have thought that he's simply uninformed on politics and being such a public champion of the Starmer team because he (rightly) can't stand the Tories but (wrongly) has no idea of the evils he's supporing and probably doesn't have in depth opinion.

I'd guess the Labour leadership are loving the prospect of using him like a pawn when they can.

Conflicting position as I'd still take that mob over the incumbents, who represent the worst of us.

As for his politics, I personally welcome public figures stating their position but let's all be clear. He's no champion of the people, he's a centrist, which is to say, he's economically right wing (and therefore a right wing enabler) but with more socially liberal views.

I remember Gary standing outside Manchester town hall in December 2020, fronting a campaign from one of the city's most odious PR agencies to get workers back into town. Anyway, a week later we entered the worst wave of the pandemic and I've never taken anything he's said seriously since. Being anti-Conservative now isn't being a 'man of the people', it's just seeing the way the wind is blowing.

Workers getting paid 250 monthly is a shite wage in any part of the world. Taking advantage of the poor is the way of these Gulf sheikhs. Sure, there's not much equality anywhere but workers being paid monthly as much as some folk are paying for their meals in western Qatari restaurants is disgusting. Apparently the authorities hold workers' passports so they can't go back home, they also have to pay off their plane tickets. Now this 'this doesn't sit well' with Nev...whilst running to the bank with his Qatari money.

Nonsense, it’s people like yourself babbling on about an academy product rightly being put in your place. He was god awful last year, but the season before managed 20 goals despite requiring surgery for most of it.

Absolute god awful fanbase at times.

Absolute bollocks. There’s not a club in football who would’ve sold Rashford and if he’s on the market there isn’t a club who wouldn’t want him.
