I appreciate it’s podcast season, but he doesn’t half talk too much honestly. Every morning I wake up to ‘Gary Neville thinks ... should do this’, on just about every possible topic under the sun.

To be fair he obviously doesn't understand how football works. Or at least in trying to make a ridiculous point he's making it sound like he doesn't by saying Neville was only at United for 12 minutes during the 07-08 season.
It’s not his fault that the presenters ask him his opinion on certain topics and another team are responsible for titling the videos in the most clickbaity terms they can. This period has solidified his position as one of the best English pundits around. He’s incredibly articulate and the majority of his viewpoints seem to be well researched or at least pulled from his wealth of experience across the game.

I'm a neutral watching the match and I found Neville over the top too. I don't think it's his job as a commentator to call players "rubbish" or "embarrassing". Unless it's for play acting or something.
