Why wouldn't I be posting about United news on a United forum? It's not news that nobody else knows about. Some of the journo's who wrote about Bale have been briefed about it, where do you think the info comes from?
Info leaks from clubs all the time, I get decent enough info every now and then and I share it, simple as that.

Internet ITK's are annoying because that's how all the bullshit rumours get spread in the first place. Like I said, 2 years ago I got absolute shite for saying we were after Bale, the stick I got for it was unreal - ITK, WUM, all sorts, yet when it then became common knowledge that we'd bid MORE than Real not one person acknowledged it.

Listen, some transfers go on for months. The Shaw deal for example was known about for months, it was clear it was going to happen even though a fee wasn't agreed for a good few months later. Garay is one example and I didn't say it was definitely happening but it was a definite possibility.... after several months of it supposedly happening.

The press has had access to it. They havent run it because its at very early stages and may only be from one source. Infairness, Ogden did run with it and was mocked quite unfairly on here.

He is my dream signing for United, but I can not see it happening.
After having watched players like Van Persie, Di Maria, Schweinsteiger etc join us, I'll not be surprised at all if we manage to land this huge welsh fish. It'd be a dream come true.

It'll definitely happen eventually. United are the logical giant club after Madrid to go to without it looking like a step down. I doubt it'll be this summer though. Can definitely see him joining us in the next season or two.
He could quite easily go to Chelsea or City as well and to think they wouldn't he in the picture is a tad arrogant.
Yeah that's a real question. Where does Bale fit? Unless he becomes a centre forward, a bit like Henry, I really don't understand where he could be playing...
What I find funny is that Madrid value him at £95m... yeah, he's really worth more than what they paid now that he's two years older, and has had two average years of football. He's a top class player, would make sense to have him here, but £60m-£70m is about right (we overpaid for ADM just as they overpaid for Bale, so that can't be used as a proper yardstick).
Bale is likely to return to the PL, one day when RM get tired of him and want him gone for a new toy. That day won't be this transfer window, Perez loves him too much and the player has no desire to leave. He is not for sale if just for the simple fact there isn't a player RM can replace him with. Besides all of that we don't really need a player like Bale right now, nor do I think that he is an ideal van Gaal player.
I think Bale leaves when Madrid sign Reus or Hazard.
