Gareth Bale

I agree (as I have been argumenting in my previous posts). He was top 10 attacking player though in 12-13 season but since then he has had a good season and an average/bad one, so 12-13 cannot indefinitely keep him in top 10 or so.

Yeah I've been following and I fully agree.

Ok, Di Maria is a top 10 player in the world cause the last time he played in his natural position (13-14) he was top 10, but last year LVG played him in other position so it doesn't count.

Rooney is one of the top 3 strikers in the world cause the last season he played as main striker (11-12) he was in top 3 or so.

Let's continue this...

Well your on to something here. Di maria & Rooney struggled through seasons that they have not played in their natural position. Likewise Bale has right?

Then why would anyone compare him to Suarez or Robben or Hazard, who play in positions they have been playing their whole life?

No-one is claiming that they are top 10 in the world though.

Who cares if he struggles cause he is not in natural position? A player is as good as his performances. If he was that good, he would have been playing in his favorite position. You may say that Ronaldo plays there, but if Bale was near as good as Caf thinks, surely the manager would have done something to play both of them in favorite position. After all, Barca manager changed the position of the greatest ever player in order to accomodate the likes of Suarez and Neymar.

Messi started off at RW though.

No one belittle messis performances for Argentina because he plays as an AM. No one belittled rooney for playing CM. So why is bales performances as RW casted as the be all of the players ability?

The answer is that if bale to united was achievable then he would also be playing at RW. Thats why i ask.. Who is a better RW then him bar new look messi & robben?

Messi started off at RW though.
And his best position was as main striker. But now plays almost like a No.10. In all of them brilliant.

Ronaldo started in right wing, now plays in left wing though he has also played as a striker. Brilliant in all positions.

Muller started as right winger, but has also played as striker/second striker. Brilliant in all of these!

Go check both Neymar and Suarez changing positions from clubs to clubs. Countless other examples.

Changing the position of a player shouldn't be used as an excuse why he doesn't perform. We have been there before with Kagawa and Welbeck, though this time it is even weirder considering that Bale isn't a United player so don't see the need of making excuses.

Bale isnt playing in his normal position? All neymar, suarez, robben, hazard infact anyone who is deemed better than bale is playing in their natural position.

As a RW only Robben is better. The guy is 25 for god sake and scored the winning goal aka the difference in madrids la decima. His poor performances arnt exactly poor, just not considered world record transfer worthy. Then you really have to deem the fact he isnt playing in his normal position a complete hindrance to his performance.

I cant wait for the idiot who deems james Rodriguez better than bale..

How is Bale not played in his 'natural position'? What is his natural position then? He's playing somewhat of a free role / #10 under Benitez and played on a wing for Ancelotti so what's the problem now?

So he prefers playing down the middle? Guess he did tear the EPL apart playing there for Spurs, but I think I prefer him on the wing, where he can utilize his pace more. I think the only reason he likes it there for Wales is because he has loads of space to counter, due to teams not often playing with 11 men behind the ball like they would against Madrid.

Or give him the offensive freedom to go where he wants to go when he needs to be there.

Was pretty wank in the first half against Gala yesterday. (Didn't see the second half) My Real supporting mate really dislikes him and would sell him to us in a heartbeat. Why wouldn't Perez think like that the greedy fecker.

Apparently he was booed again? Hee in for a long long season. I believe he has the quality to play in Madrid, but in these circumstances he has to push for a move, for his own sake.

He's not performing there so there's no way to know if he'd pick himself up if he left for somewhere else even if he wanted to get a move...

Rather have Griezmann than him.
This. Would be a dream signing. Have a funny feeling he would be up for playing for us but of course not gonna happen this season.

Haven't Real fans booed Ronaldo at times? and he'll probably go down as their 2nd best player of all time. I don't think it necessairly puts Bale in an untenable situation.

Can I have this week's lottery numbers?

You can see where he's coming from... I think.... his career has shown to date he does tend to pick up knocks, and if he loses that explosive physical burst, due to his body wearing down then his all round game isn't really superstar quality.

He has opted against moving to us on two occasions hasn't he? doesn't sound like someone who supports us. I would be happy if he did though as bale is my number one boner signing.

Yeah mate. He has been pictured wearing utd shirts at old trafford watching us play posing with fans. Holding our shirt up in pictures and even last night he tweeted comments whilst he was watching us play brugge.

Well that can only be a positive I guess.

Maybe. But 28? No way. If Rooney can last until 29 then he can at least reach that number.

Bale is a lot more athletic and his injuries haven't been as bad as Rooneys. To say he'll be done at 28 is a bit much.

Rooney has also played 30+ games since he was 16/17. I don't think there's a player that started playing so many games at that level. He's never rested.
