He's on! It's 4-0!
Nope. Today was the first day he set foot on a pitch and spurs won in the league.I thought it was that he has never won a league match which he started?
Well, same thing frankly!
I reckon Redknapps cheated there...
Righto.
Well he still hasn't won a league match which he started!
20+5 games, so this wasn't really a major setback for the Curse of the Gareth Bale.Let's assess the wreckage
How long was the run in games, and how much does that reduce if we only look at starts?
Righto.
Well he still hasn't won a league match which he started!
So what does this amazing stat show o wise one? After two years and four months, 25 games and 1,533 minutes of action Gareth Bale was finally part of a winning Tottenham Hotspur team in the Premier League.
He played 6 minutes in Saturdays 5-0 drubbing of Burnley.

Exactly what it says...
Not trying to poke fun, but it has been quite an ongoing joke that has spanned numerous seasons.
Note Redknapp's wait for the five goal cushion before introducing him.

Hurray! Its all over now, hes won a match hes started so the curse is finally over.
Hurray!
Not only this, but he (again) put in a very good performance.
Only 20 years old still - he has a superb potential career ahead of him. He's got great pace, excellent commitment and passion, and a very good left foot. If he can learn better the defensive side of the game - and he has plenty of time in which to do this - then he's going to become IMO one of the very best LBs in the game.

Donkey be blowed ... Bale has pace to burn, a driving desire and commitment, is athletic and strong and is a far better prospect than Gibbs.Gibbs is better, Bale is a bit of a donkey.

If you don't think that Bale has desire and commitment, then I doubt you've seen him in action much.Except Gibbs has all those things and actually has desire and commitment, unlike bale you moseys up and down the wing has he pleases.
