What is the point of even linking that? aliens have a higher chance of invading.
So are we giving no credence to 'Arry's comments at all? Does he need a story and crave attention so much, that he'd make something up at the expense of an old friend an ex-player of his?
Not that I'm expecting anything to happen in January, but the story about him not having settled keeps cropping up. It gives me some hope for the summer, because I think he'd be a superb signing. A real throwback to what I always think of as a stereotypical United winger.
ExcitingKick and run?

Gareth Bale started his post-Rafa Benitez period at Real Madrid with a stellar performance that saw Zinedine Zidane’s first game in charge end in a 5-0 triumph over Deportivo.
The 26-year-old scored a hat-trick, his second in four games, and many in the Spanish media were labelling it his best game for Los Merengues.
That brings his total number of strikes in the last seven matches to ten and he currently leads the La Liga assist charts.
However, this all comes amidst talk of the Wales star being unhappy at Madrid due to the sacking of Benitez.
The former Tottenham man is linked with a move to Manchester United and looking at what he has been saying makes this transfer appear more likely.
Speaking after the game, he said: “I had a very good relationship with Rafa. Obviously, it was a big disappointment to see him go but things like this happen in football: you’re professional and you get on with it, and carry on.”
“I’m happy at the moment. Obviously, you can never predict what happens in the future but I’m enjoying my football at the moment, so I’ll keep going, ” he added.
At first glance, this would appear to suggest that Bale is set to stay in Madrid, but the quotes are riddled with qualifiers that show he is angling for a move.
On two separate occasions he uses the phrase ‘at the moment’ meaning he can foresee a time in the future when these circumstances could change, particularly as ‘you can never predict the future’.
Quite how long these moments of happiness will last is anyone’s guess. The in-form midfielder would surely become increasingly frustrated if Zidane can’t better Benitez, because that would fail to justify the decision to get rid of Bale’s preferred manager.
Furthermore, saying he’ll ‘get on with it’ and ‘keep going’ makes him sound like he’s trying to trudge through a job he’s not keen on rather than playing for one of the world’s biggest clubs.
This is the sort of drivel these idiots come out with, watch everyone pick up on it now, it's absolutely pathetic:

You only have yourself to blame. I mean, Ladbrokes.com...
What, you think I believe this in any way shape or form?
I merely offer it as an example of the depths these pathetic people will go for a 'story'.

You've let yourself down here Colin. What a rubbish article.
Anyone believing Real will sell Bale to pick up the 'zero goals this season' Hazard need their heads checked
Bale is their new Ronaldo - they won't want to sell him
We may have a better chance getting their old one
Christ, it's going to be one long summer isn't it.I do think we will be able to land Ronaldo this summer.

Or he wants to leave that mess of a club?
Or he wants to leave that mess of a club?
From De Gea to the Copa Del Ray fiasco to sacking a coach that built the team around him and hearing Zidane say Ronaldo is his main man and will play in his favouted position...thats the last 5 months alone. Now they cant sign anyone to even catch Barca never mind compete with them. This will set them back years in the battle against Barcelona imo.Why would he?
He's at the biggest club in the world and he's finally starting to win round the fans and the media and he knows that Perez wants him to be Ronaldo's successor. Why would any ambitious player give that up in order to sign for a struggling club like ours?
What have we done that comes close to this level? Not sacking a manager you dont think should be in charge isnt even in the same sport never mind league that Madrids mess is infrom a United fan at the minute that's rich......
from a United fan at the minute that's rich......
We are not a mess of club. LvG may be a bad manager, but the club is very professional. I personally would be happy to see him go, but as a choice to let him stay, its based on professional reasons. In the business world, its normal to give people a fair chance to improve.
Yeah, but now he's doubled in size.WTF. We only paid half that for him last time.
