How the feck people don't think Bale would improve us, is absolutely beyond me. He is so, so, so, so much better than anything in our squad, it's laughable.
He's also better than Grizemann despite what people think, Grizemann plays as striker anyway, Bale plays in a position we need to strengthen.

His technical ability is below average, his passing is below average. His best attributes are his pace and shooting.
Without his pace he won't be able to get into those positions in the final third where he does all his damage.

How are they comparable? Very different players, they are both fast left footed wingers, but I think the similarities stop there.
Bale is class and would be a terrific signing but it won't happen in all likelihood. Hope I'm wrong though.
