Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

No what is strange is you clearly ignoring facts and making things up to fit your strange theory.

If the battle turns on the fact that they forgot to prepare for the Night King having a Dragon then it will be the stupidest thing to ever happen on TV.
We shall see! I think the dragon will mess shit up, then jon will jump onto the other dragon and fight ice with fire in a midair battle. Best dragon wins!

The not listening part I'd wager.

They know the NK has a dragon, and he'll surely be in this fight but maybe turn up half way through to start real shit.

I’m hoping for some more spear chucking.

So you don't think they are prepared for dragons, but will defend against a dragon with a dragon.

Makes total sense since you put it like that :wenger:
It’ll be instinctive, not planned. look I’m just messing around and brainstorming  have some fun! who knows how it’ll go down.

If I’m right though :D

Brienne
Greyworm
Theon
Thormund
Podrick
Young Lady Mormont
Davos
Gilly
Varys
Tyrion

Plot twist: Drogon wasnt listening when they told him about the impending battle so went for a shit and missed the whole thing.

Can we have a list of "stuff that has been prophesised/foreshadowed and not yet come to pass" (and maybe just important plot points that nothing has been done with yet)? Doesnt mean they will all necessarily happen, but could help shape what we think is going to happen.... for instance;

* Melisandre to meet Arya again.
* Bran to warg into a dragon ("you'll fly")
* The "little brother" to kill Cersei (Tyrion/Jaime/Euron?)
* Bran's 'mark' being used by the Night King
* Prince that was promised?
* Arya using her faceless training for something important (bigger than killing the Freys)

Isn't being the Three Eyed Crow fulfilling the flying prophecy?

Are Azor Ahai and lightbringer mentioned in the show?

Ive changed the latter to "prince that was promised" - although I was fairly sure that Melisandre spoke a fair bit about all that jazz.

Your Grace, forgive me, but your translation is not quite accurate. That noun has no gender in High Valyrian, so the proper translation for that prophecy would be, "The prince or princess who was promised will bring the dawn."

:nervous: top notch dialogue that

I think you'll find the actual translation is: "The prince or princess who was promised will bring the dawn, or maybe not depending on whether or not we bump it for a not quite nudey scene of the one woman on the show that people really didn't want to see, oh and if there's budget for it after a teen-drama style dragon flight with a healthy does of incest".

Bittersweet = everyone dies at Winterfell and the Night King destroys King's Landing. Episode Four is Cersei and Euron escaping to Essos but being killed by a Faceless Man hired by The Iron Bank. Episode 5 is the Night King's Army picking off the remaining farmers, peasants and children. But Episode 6 is just an hour and a half of funny cat videos.

Then the last cat takes off her face to reveal Arya who then dies of an STD she got from Gendry.

Best theory ever.

The only STD she got from gendry was a supa thicc dong

Is it too obvious that Jon is going to have some sort of hold over the ice dragon? The whole fire and ice thing he’s got going on and the fact he’s undead now too.

Before that happens though, I think we will see the white walkers marching across a freshly dragon breath frozen path towards the iron islands.

I just hope they don't confirm the death of Eddie. I don't know what I'd do if he suffered a fate worse than singed eyelashes.

So

What happened to Meera reed? Is she gone and never coming back? Just saw the hold the door ep and the one after

Benjen basically telling bran he will have to face the night king when the time is right was interesting

She went home, she lives south of Winterfell, roughly between Winterfell and the Twins. So if for whatever reason people fled South... they would probably bump into her family. Given Bran was so cold to her and she left because of that, it does make you wonder if Bran did that on purpose to ensure she wasn't at Winterfell huh? Might be reading too much into that though. *shrugs*

I hope so. I liked Meera. Poor girl had to lug Bran's ambiguous arse all over beyond the wall.

Her father could yet play an important role if Dany wants further proof other than Citadel records...

Howland Reed, Meera's father, he survived the Tower of Joy so would be the only living(?) witness of Jon's birth.

I bet we don't see her again sadly. Would be pleased if we did though.

Also, wonder if we'll see Robin (think that's his name), the sickly kid who had the psycho mum.

No book spoilers you prodigious ingrates.

My theory on the dialogue for the final scene, which will come just after the Night King is about to destroy King's Landing but Tyrion shouts "Wait! I have a plan!"

Tyrion: "Well, it took some doing but it looks like things are finally working out for Ol' Timbo"

Jaime: "I still can't believe that worked."

Tyrion: "Best not think about it too much."

Jaime: "I still don't understand it myself."

Tyrion: "Well, the Night King got what he wanted and now he's gone home. There's really not much else to say about it."

Jaime: "All this time he just wanted to know what the dwarf was doing with a honeycomb and a jackass in that brothel?!"

Tyrion: "Yup. The most important piece of foreshadowing throughout our entire story and it probably went over everyone's heads."

Jaime: "...seems a little derivative."

Tyrion: "Again; don't think about it too much and just accept that my plan worked."

Jaime: "Shit, is that the time?! Brienne is going to kill me. See you guys later..."

Ser Barristan Selmy: "Wait, I thought I died?!"

Prince Oberyn: "You did but I think Pidgy just brought back the characters that he liked the most. Some for reasons more... visual than others."

Tyene Sand: "tHe BAd pOoSy"

Of course best option for NK would be to surround Winterfell and starve them to death. I mean they just sit there waiting and getting together there so close to the wall doesn't make much sense. But I don't think WW are much in tactics nor do I imagine them having war councils.

NK pretty much has the manpower of Soviet Russia and best part is that he doesn't have to shoot deserters. Why wait for a long time when it could be done in a day...

What about ghost, the most important character

What I would pay to see the Wolves ride the dragons to burn everyone and win. Might be a more elegant ending than how things seem to be headed.

I’m hoping for some more spear chucking.

Spears one whilst in flight, causing Dany/Jon to save the other as they tumble to the earth.

I wonder if Bran will Warg into any of the dragons?

That's right. I completely forgot about them, what are they up to now? They are close enough to send what little they have to Winterfel, though they would be too late now.

When she left Winterfell she said she had to be with her family when the White Walkers attacked so presumably just hiding out/setting up defences.

I still don’t understand why that knight who’s supposed to be a badass just didn’t let Ned go through to see his sister? At this point, he surely would have known all the Targs (Mad King and the Prince) were dead? For that matter, why didn’t Lyanna instruct the knight to let her brother through if/when Ned gets there? Doesn’t really make any sense. Also didn’t the Mad King have her father and older brother burned alive? So is she considered a traitor to the Stark family by hooking up with the son of her father and brother’s killer?
