Same. There are two cinematic efforts I could recite just about any detail/line: Blow and Goodfellas.

Jon, having been brought back from the dead a while back, is killed at some point and yadda yadda ends up as a White Walker.
Probably as a corpse now. Would be quite something if Cersei has been feeding her to keep her alive, so that she is forced to stare at her dead daughter chained up.

She left Septa Unella chained up and alone with zombie Mountain so forcing Ellaria to watch her daughter decompose in front of her sounds right up her street.
Finally watched it last night - I enjoyed it. It's a necessary episode to get everybody together and prepare us for the slaughterfest that will happen. Some nice moments in it I thought and I loved the Jamie moment at the end.

Can't stand Euron. The reason being the actor who is very, very bad. Overacts 100% of the scenes he's in.
How did this show get so basic man
Joffrey was basically Trump, and no matter what you think of good old Don, he sure creates drama.
For what it's worth, I think the story will end up with team Winterfell falling out at some point which will split the anti-WW forces further. This will lead to a huge defeat for the humans, making the WWs as an allegory for climate change/other global external dangers that the human race can't rally around and fight together, instead leading to their downfall.

Because GRRM is fecking slow at writing and they didn't (/coudln't) wait up.
So I keep hearing the Arya/Tywin in earlier seasons (S2?) stuff was added to the show rather than taken from source. So if that was the case, who did the dialogue there? Obviously having Charles Dance deliver lines would help, but the interactions were fantastic.
Would be funny if his future books will take different turns than the tv show. If he ever manages to write those...

there are shitloads of interactions in seasons one and two that aren't in the books. They can clearly write good dialogue when they are arsed, but all they seem interested in these days are zombie bears and flying romance scenes.
I saw a meme the other day which had Bran dropping the Bran bomb about them not having time for this family reunion. Then next scene “A whole new woooorldddd” like something out of god damn Aladdin.
dragon date. Sure don’t have time Bran to discuss family matters and stuff, but these two have time to take 2 supposedly not eating dragons out on a jaunt, and even worse to a place where there doesn’t seem to be food.
Yep. And even in the scenes that were lifted from the book, it's not like they just copy pasted the dialogue word for word. I can't be bothered to go and check but maybe the writers are different now. Or they just peaked too soon and are creatively burned out.
D&D said before that getting to the red wedding was their goal early on. They also said they wanted nothing to do with the prequel after GoT ended. I think it's pretty obvious they don't care as much as they used to about it and it's shown in the writing. No doubt without Martin's material to work off it probably became a lot more difficult for them to give the show a direction, too.
Perfect example of how poor the writing is. When she said "the dragons are hungry/not eating whatever" I expected that they were taking them out to hunt for food but apparently not.
The only thing I can take from that non-sequitur is, as somebody has already said, that it comes back later on in the season for a payoff i.e. Dragons too weak to fight, Dragons start eating the soldiers...etc...
What I don't get is how one of the biggest shows in the world with more than a year to prep can put out such lazy dialogue. If D&D are too busy or don't care enough, just hire the best writers to polish your turds. I can excuse the story being silly because they're flying blind, but there's no excuse for shit dialogue.
The guy who wrote the latest episode has three previous "written by" credits for the show - an episode each in season 5, 6 and 7, all after the show dropped in quality. And the one in season 5 involved the Sand Snakes.

Again, she couldn't kill him whilst Dany, her dragons, an army and everyone else were in the city. That was obviously the logical decision.
Could the dragons not be eating too much because they know there isn's enough food for the people already without them eating every sheep in the north?

To be fair D&D did write Battle of the Bastards and The Winds of Winter, which were both pretty amazing. They did also write Beyond the Wall, though..
Looks like Miguel Sapochnik is directing episodes 3 and 5, so I'm still expecting them to be amazing.

The dragons were eating shepherds' flocks all over the place in Mereen. They even killed a little kid at one point. They're the biggest dicks around. There's no chance they care about any of the little people.
It's always the most illogical people who complain about logic.
IMO it was more about showing that Jon can ride a dragon, and further building a bond between himself and Dany - which may fracture once she learns that he's the actual true heir.
I think that if she finds out she will realise that this is true because he was able to ride on a dragon. She hasn't questioned that as yet.
No. That's too much of a reach IMO, and besides, how are they to know how much food is around and how much food is needed to feed an army?
My mate came out with a crazy theory yesterday - he reckoned the Night King is actually the Mad King somehow raised years ago and is marching to regain his kingdom.

He's not the true heir, Gendry is. Baratheons are on the throne, not Targs.
