Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Really enjoyed that finale.

It had everything... Reunions aplenty, Littlefinger wimpering like a little girl, Cersei being a megabitch, incest, zombie giants, a disabled boy staring at a tree...10/10 would watch again.
 How they've turned Bran into an emotionless inhuman was one of the stranger things about this season imo.

Fantastic episode, much better pacing this week.

Loved the scenes at King's Landing, you could feel the tension & distrust. Actually thought Cersei would march with them, but what a cnut!!! Brilliant twist, which luckily didn't get spoiled for me. Also, I'm glad Jamie got out alive & kept his word.

Sansa finally grew up!! Genuinely thought she was being played by Littlefinger but love it how they killed that bastard! Great scene to set it up, only thing was because Bran was in the Great Hall, so I knew they wouldn't kill Arya & that took away part of the surprise.

Sam's reactions to Bran

Surely Bran has seen what happened with the White Walkers & the ice-dragon? Would've been good if we saw his reaction before the season ended.

Rhaegar's not as good as looking as I was expecting tbh, looks like Viserys ffs
He was in season one loads with denarys, don't you remember the great Kahl giving him a moulting golden crown , so denerys okd johns dads death !!

I doubt his expression would have changed at all, the weirdo.

Looked similar they seem to be played by the same actor!! Ha ha!! Have a look , I'm sure they have !! Lol cheapskates!
So how did rhaegar die ? Ta
For real? Haven't you come across any mentions of Robert's rebellion yet? Rhaegar was killed by Robert Baratheon at the battle of the Trident.

I have a feeling they dont really trust Cersei and Dany wont be as naive as Jon would be.
They made a point to have that scene where Dany said as much a few eps ago when the plan for a truce was made.

The journey to get to the end point of this finale was rough, sure, but as most have pointed out, this season was a pure spectacle. But I felt the first scene of this final was something we might have seen in previous seasons. (same with Tyrion and Cerseis scene). The lannisters were all fantastic I thought.

I still loved Danys entrance to that scene though. And im glad Cersei managed to pick up that there were only 2 dragons and not 3.

I actually think it makes sense :nervous: Although there wasnt much transition haha. But given hes the 3ER, I expected him to be overwhelmed by all the info and become like a computer.

That was Viserys not Rhaegar. Rhaegar was Jon's dad and he died in the last battle in the war. This is the first time we see him.

Did they get the same actor who played Viscerys to play Rhaeger in the wedding scene? Thought I recognized the ugly profile.
No. The actor who played Viserys was Harry Lloyd. Wilf Scolding played Rhaegar.

Good casting, imo. The Targaryens are famous for inbreeding, so they should look very much alike.

That's just bad chemistry.
Hydrogen in the front for the flame flame and Helium in the back for added flight stability. Also bats can fly with holes in their wings, a parachute still floats with a hole in it(Depending on size) so on.
Also it's a magical cooking creature.....

How is Jon the rightful heir? Robert won the throne by conquest, it's not his fault the Lannisters acted the way they did before he got to King's Landing. He has no trueborn sons or daughters and neither did his brothers, so Cersei is rightfully queen.
My opinion is that Robert didnt defeat the Mad King. He only defeated his son Rhaegar in battle. Jaime betrayed and killed the Mad King and Robert just took over after that cause he was leading the rebellion. By the time Robert took over as King, Jon was already born and he was the rightful heir. If Jon wasnt born, then Viserys and Dany were the rightful heirs. Also Robert does have a bastard son - Gendry.

I believe Rob has some Targaryan blood in his ancestry, which made him the 'most right' choice when he rebelled.

If Rob was the most right choice, then Bran would have said Gendry is the rightful heir. Thats not the case though.

Just the right choice when they rebelled, not now. Otherwise Ned could have claimed the throne if he really wanted to back then.

The moment you notice that all Rhaegar's sons are called Aegon.

Yeah right choice comes into play only if there arent any more Targaryans alive. But there were three alive.

Why did Lyanna choose Rhaegar over the stud Rob Baratheon anyway. Looks like the wrong choice to me.

Jaysus. He fathered two sons, both named Aegon. I know that. The way you worded your post made it sound like he had other sons named Aegon too.

I said the moment you notice that all Rhaegar's sons (ie 2-infinity) are called Aegon. This show is getting more and more idiotic tbh. Who names his 2 sons with the same name?
