Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Don't know if things you see in trailer can be posted..

Looks like Bran has finally got his wheel chair..

Still hope when their paths eventually do cross, Arya gives Sansa the wrong end of Needle.
How about Arya not killing her sister but telling her what little finger really is (She saw him meeting with Tywin and discussing his plans)

Ffs somehow I thought the season started this month. More waiting :(

Trailer gave me a massive erection though.

So excited. So close yet still so far. The extended wait was annoying especially with less episodes.
Ahh awesome trailer, I couldnt resist watching it.

I've managed to resist it but the comments in here are making me want to watch!

You gotta watch the trailers man. They make your dick hard and it's all easily forgettable once the series starts plus they don't reveal anything.

Yeah this one didn't give much away and I don't even remember the first trailer.

I don't forget them though. I remember bits of them that haven't happened and know certain people can't die until it does. Better off staying far away me.

Actually warming to the idea of seven episodes now, when you consider the amount of waffle they had in season six and especially season five, it looks like they're really gonna pack much more good stuff into these.

I didn't think season 6 was too bad but agree that Season 5 was a bit boring in the middle episodes & felt dragged out.

Can't wait for this to start. Reckon every episode is going to have a 'oh shit!!' moment.

Decided I'd watch through season 6 again to refresh what had happened. It's not much waffle at all to be honest. Pretty much every storyline moves on quite quickly. Aryas drags abit but that's the only one really.

Really hope the insane travel time stuff is out of the way in Season 6. (Really got on my t*ts how LF, Dany and co. were covering land masses as if they had airplanes). Given how the earlier seasons showed the prolonged travel times, this really grated.

The trailers look great, but also ominous if you've been on the reddit channel...

And now for the question everyone's been waiting to ask. "The others are fine, but where are Sam and Gilly?"

Im doing the same but watching from Season 4. Up to the 3rd episode of Season 5 now. Season 4 was great, forgotten how brilliant some of those episodes were.

Yeah I considered starting from the beginning so that it'd last until the new series but I've already done that about 5 times in the past so couldn't stomach it again.

Season 4 is great. Season 5 isn't the best and season 6 is just great throughout.

I started this, belatedly, about a week or so ago...

I'm already half way through Series 3...

Without quoting individuals to bring attention to their posts, but some people have definitely read the leaks and are hinting at things in their posts.

Just an FYI because I know a lot of you are spoiler sensitive.

This stuff again...

Their journeys aren't important at this stage. Watching Littlefinger in a carriage for 2 episodes does nothing to advance the story. Following journeys like The Hound and Arya, Brienne and Jaime or Tyrion and Bronn was important. 95% of character development is done at this point. Time to get shit done.

Selective memory it seems. It took Ned, Robert, and co two episodes to travel from Winterfell to King's Landing in season one.

I think he's saying that's the part where character development is happening. As you get further into the series there is less need for that

That is how I read it, even the travel of Ned and Robert had an important part to add to the story. Littlefinger travelling from the Vale to Winterfell with no other main characters with him, probably not a lot of them to bother showing.

But then again this is a show about magic and dragons and white walkers and zombies and prophecies and worgs and well you get the drift, so I think it is okay to suspend a little bit of belief and just go with the flow.
