Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

From the trailer, other than the obvious stuff, I see Yara and Ellaria making out, Greyworm and Missandei getting it on, Jon Snow running with Tormund and possibly Onion Knight persuading Denarys to join the fight against the white walkers, Arya possibly meeting Nymeria in the jungle and Little Finger getting tackled by Sansa.

I can't wait for that empty feeling when an episode concludes and I know I'll have to wait a week for another. Sort of like my monthly episodes with women.

Damn, good eye.

Definitely not watching that trailer. I can hold out from here surely

The episode lengths have been released by HBO. Seven episodes is the number but the amount of time they cover is equivalent to eight episodes in earlier seasons.

Episode 1: 59 mins
Episode 2: 59 mins
Episode 3: 1 hour 3 mins
Episode 4: 50 mins
Episode 5: 59 mins
Episode 6: 1 hour 10 mins

I dont know how they can wrap season 6 in just 8 hours.

Season 5 is rushed all over while the previous four season drags forever.

I guess got got too expensive to make
It almost certainly did. It's like a movie every week, with no direct revenue.

There were rumors
They had to choose between the Giant and the wolf for the Battle of the Bastards due to the cost overruns involved.

Looks like they are going to wreck havoc in the first 3 episodes and let us cool down for the fourth episode!!

I assume that is screen time rather than an hour slot equating to 40-45 mins given all of the adverts etc.?

I don't know whether to watch the new series as it's on or save the whole season for a binge. I was late to the party and binged seasons 1-3 on sky atlantic when they were showing them one christmas a few years ago. Amazing show to binge, and a real pain to wait for the next episode after it airs which I did after catching up.

That 1 hour 21 minute season finale is gone be epic isn't it! I can't wait now.

I'd imagine it's the actual length of the episode as opposed to the length of its time slot in the TV schedules. 1 hour 21 minutes is far too specific to include adverts - I'd imagine the finale will take up two hours of the TV schedule.

Ha ha, 3 and a half weeks now is it? Looks great!

Looks like that that Jon Snow and his companions which are sent to north (to capture a white maybe) will get surrounded by the dead army. I hate to say this but it looks like only Jon Snow will survive (there is a scene of him running half dead on his horse)
