Anyway, more importantly, was that dude that turned Jon and Sansa down Lord Percy from Blackadder?

No. I gave you a warning for conteaveni g the rules that govern all threads in the whole forum. I reversed it because a modmin made an error when editing the first thread.

Whatevs, seriously. I'm giving you my experience as a person who casually drops in on this thread solely from homepage and discussed something that was already in the thread, inside a spoiler because that's what it said to do in the first post.

You can take what you want from that as to potential arising issues in this thread (and you have, in editing the first post) and how people read the spoiler policy too, if you really want.

Might want to check out the Luke Cage thread if you're actually serious about this policy and just threadban everyone who posts in there. I'd hazard a guess there's plenty of other threads too.

Why isn't Jaime leading the Lannister troops straight onto Winterfell? Don't the Lannisters have a bigger beef with the Boltons than they do with Blackfish and his small, ragtag bunch?

Something on Thronecast made me think that perhaps Jaqen H'Gar will take on a disguise and kill the Waif seeing as she didn't follow his explicit orders to make it a merciful killing. Perhaps he will also be checking up on her? The Waif may catch up with Arya again but before she has a chance to inflict the death blow seeing as Arya is now heavily wounded, Jaqen will intervene and take out the Waif?

Why would they? Am I forgetting something?

As if you can still just be wandering around after being stabbed repeatedly in the abdomen and then falling off a bridge.

I didn't want Arya to die but I don't see how she can reasonably survive this. Considering this show is known for having shocking deaths they do like to bring people back. Hasn't been a genuinely shocking death to a big character for ages now. Probably Tywin.

Report the posts if they break the rules. The modmins get an outrageous amount of shit for this thread going off the rails so its heavily monitored. Recently they stepped into The Flash thread to tidy that up after everal posts ot reported for spoilers. Don't be the guy who say "well that thread has spoilers"? Don't be part of the problem maaaan.

Well I won't be now, because I actually read the first post in a thread :D

I'm sure there are and if seen or reported people will be warned and/or threadbanned. The rules are only there because people seem determined to spoil people's enjoyment. They shouldn't be be neccesary but they are.

I'm not sure why self defining as casual means anything. You post on this forum so you should know the openly posted rules. If not the warning system prompts you to do so.

Yeah agreed. It's kind of done a 180 in that respect.

I haven't received any warning notification.

I think I've explained my point of view. I'll leave it at that.

Also, I am not sure about the whole logistics thing, but was it even possible for Snow and company to visit all those houses in the time it took the Hound to chop down a tree ??
Jaysus, this isnt an episode of 24, things arent happening in real time.

Bear Island and Deepwood Motte are actually very close geographically, so probably.

Wonder how they'll keep her in it?

  • She simply survives because magic?
  • One of the many faced dudes wears her face and masquerades around as her ?
  • She's some sort of zombie ala mountain?
One thing we can say for sure is that won't be that for her.

Edit: Jesus should that go in spoiler tags?

Jaime's Lannister armour is nice. The Lannister soldiers would look quite cool in general if it wasn't for those ridiculous helmets. I'm not sure which are worse, the Stark's or the Lannister's?

Tbh this shows reputation for killing main characters has always been a little suspect.

Its just does a far better job of convincing you that side plots are more important than they actually are. GRRM's favourites are kind of obvious, and they've got as strong plot armour as in any series.

Saw a spoiler in the form of a picture of The Hound this morning, so I'm so glad the episode didn't turn out to be a big reveal for him. Doesn't really feel like much was spoilt in the end.

I wont complain about the pacing of some of the storylines not being "realistic". Would make for some boring stuff if they are travelling all the time, that is stuff that can be chopped off (and made similar to a montage).
Eg nobody wants to see 1000 ships being made over several weeks if not months.

Also Jamie smacking that one dude for not shutting his mouth was lovely. I feel Jamie was pretty useless most of this season and last. He needs more air time (esp away from being Cersei's bitch). Bronn had the best line though.

I genuinely thought he was dead until i read some people's posts "speculating" about him. Did dent the shock factor a tad, but glad to have him back.

In fairness Ned, Robb, Catelyn and a few others had massive plot armour. Its only really in the last couple of seasons that they've shied away from killing off major players. We're probably due a large shock.

Doesnt Stannis count as a major player? Even though he was pretty much a jobber and lost two big fights.
Roose Bolton was a bit of a shock given the way it happened.
Having never read the books, the Viper and Joffreys deaths were big shocks in the way it happened (well the former moreso).

Give the 3 dragons to Lyanna and she will conquer Westeros in a week. What a badass, the actor was great.

Good to see Sandor and Black Fish back.

Good episode that, both the blackfish and lady mormont were hilarious. Unsure as to who will win the hound v mountain fight. I guess the mountain as I don't know what the hound would do after in the show if he wins.

Sansa was looking super hot this episode.
