Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

I thought the direwolves had bigger roles that would be strongly linked to their owners and have a story of their own. But the producers seem to be happy just killing them as if they were of no significance.

Nicking this from elsewhere, Summers death is symbolic, Winter has arrived

Know any kings of the Iron Island who never got up after being murdered by getting dipped in sea salt water by the priest?
:D:D

Nope, because if they drowned and did not get up again, they were never crowned kings. At least going by that scene, he does not get his crown until after he has been drowned and come back.

What's everyone make of Sansa not disclosing her meeting with Littlefinger to Jon Snow?
Surely, this is foreshadowing of either a) Littlefinger outfoxing her again or b) Sansa screwing Jon Snow over at some point.

I pick A, with a bit of Sansa still being naïve enough to let Littlefinger talk her into trusting him and probably realizing if she told Jon he was there, Jon would have killed him

Why do you think he would have killed him?

From the last episode in the flashback

Seen someone surmise that the tree looks like the TER though I'm not sure I see it myself - thoughts?

I think they're playing each other, as Littlefinger likely underestimates her. And then it'll all come to a head at the end of this season.

I ll pick A. Littlefinger is vile and can wriggle out of the worst situations with his tongue. Sansa has recently discovered she has some ba**s too. She is not so clever yet.

Saw the 5 eps from S6 yesturday, good stuff and finally some real action from The Others and the Walkers.

That fire scene with Khaleesi

Also didn't know that Melissandre had such nice baps, I was nursing a semi for a while there - Until she took off the necklace. I probably still would to be fair, but I would find it hard to muster up any real enthusiasm about the prospect.

How could you have missed that if you have watched 5 seasons? Someone already put the list of the best and I guess she was topping it. Am I right?

Yeah, you are right. It was probably the sole focus on the baps in that scene that got me really focused this time around. They really put Khaleesi's to shame.

Amazing that the actress is 39. I reckon gravity will come and say hello to Khaleesi far younger than 39.

Pip and Septa Mordane were at comic con London today.

He had about 3 people queing and she had loads

Ah, Comic Con. Suddenly my train journey this morning makes a lot more sense.

Going to be staying up to watch the simulcast tonight. Hopefully we see more of Bran & the Whitewalkers.

I was just with Arya Stark at a festival. Her hard life in westeros has driven her to smoking.
