Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

The overall feel of the scene, the switch to what was his coronation and Theon and Yara's escape. Definitely felt to me like it was not supposed to be happening instantly after the Kings Moot. But that could just be me assuming that Theon and Yara would need more than 30 seconds to arrange an escape. Though I don't think it was a lot of time, maybe just a few hours.

I think the whole concept of time has been thrown out of the window in this season, and I don't think it's necceserily a bad thing. Instead of people taking ages to get to places/do things (In the last two episodes we've had Sansa to the Wall, Theon to Iron Isles, Sansa to meet YARRRRR LITTLE FINGER! and back again, this ships thing)... they just get there/it happens, and everything moves along much quicker and the show is better for it.

I find the whole business about the white walkers and everything north of the wall to be the most tedious part of the show by far. Didnt enjoy this week's episode anywhere near as much as the preceding few.

That is surprising. I though it was a really great episode. In fact this whole series has been brilliant.

Huh, is that directed at me? I went and read the OP before posting it, it says "future episode talk in spoilers":confused:

Edit:
Q. What has to go in spoiler tags?
  • All speculation. e.g. "I think that this character is.. I think this will happen.."
  • All future spoilers, including talk about trailers, casting, etc.

Im still surprised at how people still dont understand the rules / how or when to use spoilers for this thread and what is / isnt allowed.

It amazes me that people continue to be so inconsiderate and either can't comprehend a straightforward and plainly written policy or (more likely) can't be bothered to read it.

Fair enough but I thought they did it well and without getting to silly. Although I'm enjoying every moment. Great fun.

I thought the direwolves had bigger roles that would be strongly linked to their owners and have a story of their own. But the producers seem to be happy just killing them as if they were of no significance.

Okay...I've learned a new word - warged. As for Bran he can't change the past nor the future because 'the past is already written, the ink is dry'. He's just acting out predestiny.

Warged indeed. Have a word...

Agreed. Thats why I didnt mind the montage for Arya, didnt think a whole season of her getting beaten up would have been great. Im still kinda hoping they progress that a bit quicker on the whole 'getting beaten up'

Agreed. Im still hoping Ghost has a part to play with Jon Snow. Same with Aryas one

Yeah makes sense. So far we have seen warging in only one being at a time Jon with Ghost and a couple of wildlings warging into eagle and owl. This also shows how Bran is more powerful than people with normal warging abilities in that he can warg in more than one person at the same time.

Edit: Perhaps the limitation of his power could be that he can warg in the same person at different point in times together but not in two separate person at the same time.
Jon warged into Ghost?

I see where you're coming from. I still love it but I enjoy the human drama the most. Lots of people rate hardhome as the best moment ever but it's got to be Red Wedding for me.

I come to this thread directly from the homepage. I haven't seen any policy.

I read the bloody OP before posting which mentions casting and accordingly put it in a spoiler like it says to do.

Ye lads need to seriously get a grip.

I think casting info should be completely verboten in this thread, and i think it was last season.

Jon warged into Ghost?

I dont think he did. Theres nothing to say he can do it is there? Unless it happens in another medium where that was lifted from which is a potential spoiler that shouldnt be posted here :nervous:

Right, well that's fine with me but I actually took the trouble to check the first post before I posted and it says put casting in spoilers.

Yeah I think thats fair. The OP of this conflicts the Spoiler policy thread. Think the OP needs to be changed.

I remember that too though. I haven't read any of the books and I'm sure he did it at some point to get himself out of a bind. Am I imagining it :D

Are you all thinking of when bran warged into summer or shaggy to make them be quiet when the windings were raiding?

I think once it's in spoilers, I don't see the problem. It's when people post verifiable facts about upcoming episodes without bothering to use spoilers (takes three seconds) that pisses me off. I read all of the spoilers because I'm weak, but there are those who would rather not know anything about the upcoming episodes (speculation, casting info, etc). Which is why an aptly titled spoiler works perfectly.

It's not a problem as long as the spoiler says "casting info" or something. The other week someone posted casting info in a normal spoiler and was surprised when people complained.

Which is what I did, and still got told off and a spoiler warning email, despite following what the first post says.

Yeah, the OP and the general spoiler policy contradict each other a bit.

Does any other thread struggle with the spoiler policy as much as this one?

Which is what i said i was doing :D

And they're annoyed and giving me grief because I broke some rule that isn't even the rule in the first post of this thread.

50% of the posts in this thread must be people arguing about spoilers and it's come to jumping down dabbler's throats when they wander into this thread, like me. Ye can honestly keep this thread and your warnings when the rules don't even match up with each other.

Good for you.

Nope. This is the only show that seems to struggle too, spoilers even appear in the football forums

No  I think the problem is the fact it was based on books and has become one of the best shows. Even TWD, its not that big a deal even though its kinda based on the comics, but most dont care as much as this one

So, I have gathered up all 6 episodes of season 6 for a serious binge watch, which will commence now.

I also need to watch s05e10 first.

dis'gon be good.

Know any kings of the Iron Island who never got up after being murdered by getting dipped in sea salt water by the priest?
:D:D
