The most cringeworthy video ive ever seen is warick davis being interviewed by the yogcast. The yogcast in itself being a minecraft thing for 5 year olds made by 50 year old men. Theyve also interviewed johnathon ross apparently
I re-watched the last episode yesterday - one minor thing...
When Khaleesi claims to have 10,000 men, but is corrected and that it's only 8,000 - I thought she 'bought' 8,000 unsullied, plus all the slaves in training, which would add up to be a lot more wouldn't it?
Anyone care to clear this up for me?
On the actresses complaining about the nudity in Game of Thrones but contains a slight Star Trek spoiler.
I'm not sure if it is just an American thing, when Torchwood did a series with an American company they had a gay sex scene which was shown in America but not in the UK. Truth is, straight men have disproportionate viewing powers and that's why we get more tits and fanny than balls and cock. The guy who plays Jamie is Danish and Nordic actors have no problem going full frontal. Had a scene with him in the bath and didn't do it so I think there's a point to this unbalance.
They've also teased the gay crowd with a lot of pointless gay scenes so far without showing the goods. There must be some stigma in America towards showing the penis of TV. Doesn't matter if it's HBO.
I thought it was illegal to show an erect penis within tv shows? Maybe i'm just talking nonsense but i'm sure i read that somewhere which could be why they are iffy with showing women more than men. Plus they probably know more men would watch the show than women and therefore cram it full of the nude ladies to up the ratings.
I doubt it's "illegal" but certainly way out of bounds for mainstream US, UK, IE networks to show boners or full on gash, yeah. Most mainstream U.S. networks can't even show any sideboob in their show, the policies over there are daft, it's one of the main reasons HBO and Showtime do show so much, because they know it's something they can do that most networks cannot in order to pull viewers in.
I think it is actually illegal if the program isn't labeled as pornographic. I'm pretty sure I got taught about it in Journalism and Media last year.
The US policies are incredibly daft though. They'll allow endless amounts of violence, swearing and gore in an R, but as soon as there's a pair of tits on show the age rating shoots up to NC-17, or in our case from a 15 to an 18. It essentially says that violence is fine but god forbid someone's exposed to a human body.
It's not just GoT anyway, it's probably at the forefront because it's the most popular and publicised cable show in a very, very long time, but loads of cable shows are just as bad, or worse. Of the current ones you have Spartacus (way more tits), The Borgias, Strike Back, Banshee, Shameless, Dexter happily throws a few in here and there. The Sopranos also threw in loads of nudity for no real reason. Hell, Hung was a show about a male prostitute yet you never saw any willy, only naked women, and lots of them.

We've had 4 willies. I keep a spreadsheet.

No I don't think that's true. I think it's largely agreed that an erect penis would suggest a non-simulated scene and so it's avoided.
What's that movie....erm....something bus and it's got a blowjob scene in it performed in real by the actors. Short bus I think? Or maybe it's Brown Bunny. Not sure
Brown Bunny and Shortbus both have explicit sex. There's a scene in The Wire where the Mayor is getting a blowjob and you see his penis but I'm pretty sure it's prosthetic. So maybe prosthetic is ok.
Could anyone link me to a stream, or are we not allowed to do that?
