Im thinking shes a 600 year old person / priestess that is kept young / ageless due to the necklace. And yeah, it causes an illusion to everybody else on what he looks like.

The Sandsnake stuff was fecking useless last season and continues to be useless this season.
So they didnt like how Oberyn and his sister were killed (and the reaction)... so they kill Oberyns family... I think that was the explanation. Yeah.

Think it might be a continuity error in the bath, she has it on in seberal other nude scenes. The stannis snatch demon scene and leech scene for example.

Its like an illussion spell to mask her true appearance. The mirror i think was just a clever way tontrick the audience for a brief second that she was communicating with someone else. Although the movement in the mirror seemed odd.

I was thinking that too, but i like to think of it as a rejuvenation necklace, also the more i think about the mirror it makes sense, for us to see her true form she has to see it.
I think that was just the light reflecting off the gem.
There aren't any breaks. It's an HBO show.
That's what most of my girlfriends have looked like in the end.
The gem does lights up as she takes it off for 2/3 seconds and it looks like it has nothing to do with the candle light.
