Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

That was fecking amazing, but what was the point of the season 2 ending then? Those walkers and the wights were obviously headed towards the Wall and it was 3 seasons ago.

Interesting point, where was that fort/hill that the Nights Watch used in S2 to make camp? book readers are allowed to post the answer. I'd be interested to know its location on a GoT map if you can find it too!

Also what was the name of the settlement that we just saw get trashed?

Hardhome I think.

Good stuff! The giant was like "feck boats, I'm walking there!".

Wonder what Ramsey is going to do with "20 good men"?

Tyrion gets Mormont thrown out. Harsh after he saved his life.

Cersei, how the mighty have fallen. Even though she's a massive bitch, I want to see her get revenge on the Sparrow nun and Qyburn's "The work continues" makes me think she will.
Might have been the only way to save Mormont's life though.

The was the name of the episode at least, so that makes sense.

Map in the image should help. Looks like the White Walkers have basically traveled eastwards. No idea where the Wildling City was though.

Any idea where the Wildling "City" was where Jon was taken too when he was prisoner? I think that was Season 3.

Wasn't really a city. Just a gathering of the wildling army that was even further north to the Fist of the First Men.

Thanks doll face. :)

No worried. If you want even more precise info (you seem to be the type;)), Jon caught Ygritte somewhere in the Frostfangs, which should be somewhere in the North West of the map you posted.

I guess they just followed the wildlings. Killing as many wildlings as possible was the best way to strengthen the whitewalker army before attacking the wall.

Oh I forgot to mention - the Thenn leader in the episode is Bulgarian, his name is Zahari Baharov :) He's the best Bulgarian actor at the moment and I thought he played his role well, even though he barely talked.

Also if the white walkers can't cross water then maybe they should have built a moat in front of the wall too.

Fresh, still water. It would freeze. They could maybe have dug an enormous trench from coast to coast to form a saltwater moat but you'd then need to consider erosion on the wall.

Yep, so watching the last 20 minutes again. Amazing stuff. So glad the big dude didnt die, was hilarious just seeing him swat them all away especially whilst they were climbing him. And then hes like "feck this, im walking" haha.

Jon Snow is feckin badass. The white walkers are amazing too, just visually fantastic and scary looking. I would be in shock and awe too as well as being totally petrified. The army theyve gathered was just something amazing.

2 episodes left right? Penultimate is normally an internet breaker too. Feck.

And the first Thenn leader was Russian, they have a strange view of Slavic nations

The battle was in Hardhome, north east of the Haunted Forest.

This show really knows how to make the battle scenes epic.

I always thought Jon Snow was ok but after this season I think he is awesome.

Dany gets a lot of hate here but you have to admire her beauty. Her character might be bland but there's this touch of innocence to her beauty that makes her irresistible to me.

Just watching now, I thought Arya said she saved enough to buy an Oyster card at first

Am I the only one that wonders if he would have been resurrected if he died?

I was thinking the exact same during the battle. When they all stopped and stared up at the noise on the mountain (just before the feckload of Zombies appeared to throw themselves off), I was expecting to see a load of blue-eyed Giants to appear!

Sorry, thought it was safe to answer that question.

Yeah im as afraid of spoilers as you are so i might as well just leave it. I'll just keep on lurking then:nervous:

You seem like a nice guy so I'm answering accordingly, this thread is for TV watchers only. In the other thread you can discuss the books and the TV show freely without having to worry about spoiling it for anyone. Here is the link,

Oh god that was good. Best episode without boobies yet.
