Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

It's not because she cares whether the Tyrell guy is gay or not. It's political.

Yes, of course, but her justification for it is hypocritical, even if she doesn't care about it. I hope it gets back to her...

I'm still waiting for a character to say 'Game of Thrones' on the show. I'm like Peter Griffin in the below clip.

Cersei said it in the first season to ned stark when they were talking before he died.

Shit, adding that youtube was not a good idea. Ive clicked so many related videos regarding GoT. Bad idea. lol

Random questions... Where do the Lannisters get all their wealth from? And have we ever seen Casterly Rock in the show?

They own gold mines that have since dried up (although the rest of the world don't know that) so they're basically living off of reputation.

And no, I don't think so.

Then where were those kids being held when Arya got drafted to be Tywin's maid?

This season so far as been a bit boring. Guessing things may pickup the second half of the season.

@Stretford End Phil @Drifter

TBF, I havent hated it like most. There have been some cringeworthy scenes, but it hasnt been as big as last season (quite a lot happened at the end of a few eps with the main characters). I still think all of this has been putting pieces in place for something big near the end of the season.

Agree with you. But like all those kinds of novels they really are a collection of sketches that only come together at the end. It's also bound to be a bit sticky in places primarily because he's still writing with each new series? It could be worse, imagine Terry Pratchett's collection serialised! Like you I hope for a grand finale ... before series 6.

The biggest issue I had with that is that there was no actual evidence or reasoning for Marjorie to be arrested. The little bloke that Loren shagged gave him away by talking about his birthmark sure, but none of that proves that Marjorie was 'in the know' about it. Seems silly.

Marjorie was arrested for her lies. She said that she had no knowledge of her brother ever "laying" with any man. The guy (I don't know his name) said that Marjorie had walked in on them one day and did not seem surprised. Therefore, Marjorie had lied under oath, or before the Gods or whatever.

But again - for her particular arrest there is no evidence other than the blokes word. His (presumably correct) identification of Loren's birthmark helps to incriminate him (Loren), but there is no sort of proof or evidence other than his word, that Marjorie was there/in the know/whatever.

The consensus here seems to indicate the trial was pathetic. What happens next, however, is critical to how this is will end. Will spoilt brat king go against his mother? Moral courage from the spawn of corruption might create an interesting twist.

It wasnt really a trial though was it? Wasnt it questioning to put it to trial?
eg theres enough merit for arrests to be made / trial to happen?

Or am I mistaking that?
