Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

More slow building up. That was bound to happen to Cersei.

Lots of the actors have been quoted saying various things about episode 10 especially, sounds like they're just building up to one heck of a finale. One of them said it will 'break the internet' so fcuk knows what's going to happen.

I don't know if the prior seasons have set expectations too high, but this season has been downright boring. The Cersei and Jorah scenes that we all knew were coming could have been handled more creatively. The Cersei scene felt like it was just slapped together haphazardly at the end, and the Jorah scene was just a shit version of Gladiator. Oh well, at least Bronn lives.

Don't even get me started on the Sam & Gilly sex scene.

Oh my!

Tarley got his face caved in. If not dead he should be severely disfigured.

Tyene Sand, mother of God ....

Brilliant episode, seems like everything is falling into place now, shit will be going down, that ending, I could sense it happening. So happy when Brother Lancel appeared.

Is it only me who thinks Jon Snow will be betrayed by either the Wildlings or worse, his brothers? Ever since Jon announced his intention to ride north of the wall, I can't shake off this feeling that something bad is going to happen to him. Pretty much the entire night's watch (apart from Sam) is pissed at him, and if they do betray him.. I'll stop watching this show.

That episode was almost entirely saved by a wonderful set of mammary glands.

Who the feck thought anyone would want to see a Sam & Gilly sex scene? Good God.

 I honestly didn't see that happen, had to go back and check it now you mentioned it. I think I spaced out at some point during that scene - dragged on for far too long.

First half (or probably more like first two thirds) of that episode was boring as feck. And Sansa is, predictably, a massive idiot.

Cracking pair of tits though, and the episode picked up a bit of speed after that with Tyrion finally meeting dragon-lady and Cersei getting thrown in jail.

Reek, what an absolute coward he's turned into.

Regarding the last episode, was that Brienne that Ramsey showed skinned?

Loved Cersei finally beginning to get what she deserves.

Brienne should be renamed Brienne the Boring along with Theon the Tosser.

Thank feck for that. No idea how he cottoned on and caught her, and whether she actually revealed anything.

The finale is going to be immense, I can't wait.

Theon probably lit the candle and then told Ramsay.

Brilliant episode with a lot of great moments, but still some boring ones (King's Landing mainly).

Please don't do it Stannis. I like you too much right now, and Shireen.

Also, not sure if Ser Jorah or Maximus Decimus Meridius.

I thought it was the best episode of the season. delivered quite a bit that we were waiting for.

Sandsnakes werent talking in all stupid riddles and one got naked :P Just glad the show didnt kill Bronn, I do wonder what happens now with him and bronn (and jamie). Not much has really happened there in Dorne.

I think sansa did get through to reek partially, as he was obviously going to go ahead with it, but Ramsey being there threw him off. I think Sansa still has fight pointing out Ramsay is a bastard and he was legitimized by a bastard and a new bolton is on the way.

Cersei played with fire and got burnt. Was quite satisfying to see. And its nice that of all the pits, Dany visited the one with Jorah :D Dany meeting Tyrion is great. Cant wait to see them two work together (hopefully). I did laugh when he kicked the shit out of the guy to prove he can fight haha

Glad Stannis told Melisandre to get out, especially after the touching scene between Stannis and his daughter recently. Although it will put him in two minds coming up, surely.

Sam giving Snow dragonglass, it must surely come to use within the last few episodes. Also GHOST :D

Did anybody else expect Sam to suddenly reveal some sort of Mage-like power he had been trying to hide when he got back up just before the wolf came?. I thought holy crap he's been pretending to be fat and useless all this time, but nope yes he is truly that

The Sand Snake was obviously a high point for me (in more ways that one) - although I didnt really feel that it made any sense. Hey, here is the closest ally of Jaime Lannister - the guy from the family that we hate - and he has been dosed with a deadly poison. I know, ill get naked and give him the antidote!
I was hoping (from a storyline standpoint) that she would tease him with the antidote and not give it to him, but on the flipside Bronn is quality, so I am pleased to see him survive.

The first half of the episode was pretty shite - Sansa is just an idiot for trusting Reek with something so sensitive, and I imagine Ramsay will now be even more of a bastard (hur hur) to her. I am also surprised that Roose Bolton seems to be content to just let Ramsay get away with this sort of shit, he seemed like the more measured sort.

What happened with Cersei was predictable and a long time coming. It was ridiculous that you had the religious nuts going around arresting everyone, whilst the queen of incest herself sits with her bastard son on the throne. Will be interesting to see what happens now - Tommen himself is probably safe from the High Sparrow, but if he is exposed as a bastard then his entire claim to the throne might basically be taken away.

I cant help but feel that Littlefinger was very much involved and responsible for the goings on at Kings Landing. He may now position himself as an advisor to Tommen, and get him to go north to partake in the big battle to come - and LF can then take advantage in whatever way he sees fit.

Pleased that Jorah and Tyrion finally made it to Daenerys. Only took them 7(?) bloody episodes.

The stuff in castle black was a bit shite. Fair play to Sam for getting back up like a man after getting the living shit knocked out of him, but it seems odd that like 50% of the watch voted for Jon Snow and now they are all happy to betray him. Jon himself is being a bit of a retard as well though, he shouldnt be going north of the wall - just tell the wildling leader to gather up the rest of the free people, and if they dont believe him then tough shit.

With this I thought it was more meant to be that Reek was seen climbing some stairs and we were meant to think he was going up the broken tower (that sounds dirty for some reason) but in fact he was going up to Ramsay.
I think at some point Reek will redeem himself by either killing Ramsay, saving Sansa, or both - but then again, that is what would happen on a normal show, and this is GoT.

Haha yes, almost expected some form of Bran-like eye rolling before giving them a good beating :D

Disappointing episode. I was really looking forward to Tyrion meeting a cock merchant. Instead he gets sold as a gladiator? The feck?

That was a bit dull. Things happened I know, but nothing really exciting/wasn't obvious. Dany is just so fecking boring, hopefully Tyrion will make her story more interesting. How can she have dragons and still be this boring? Unreal.

Also, Stannis not wanting to sacrifice his daughter was good obviously, but think it makes it obvious what will happen to him.

The scene with the Dorne girl was pretty good. She shot up in my estimation.... But why did she let him live? What's the point?

I don't get all the love for Stannis on here. He's such a nothing character. Could care less if he dies, which seems kinda inevitable.

I thought exactly that!

Nah, he is the Jason Statham of GOT, I like him.

On another note, I always thought the short haired sand snake was hot but people were saying on this thread that she looks like a little boy and she looks like Samir Nasri and now she is hot because she showed some titties. So in that logic, would Nasri be hot if he showed some tittes also?

I always knew he would be cured, but I expected Doran to give the order, since he might see Jaime as a guest and Bronn his friend. But the snakes scene was cool because she was in complete control and Bronn got owned. He had it coming since he called her a 'little girl' like three times now.

Who do you think informed the High Sparrow about Cersei's background and misdemeanors? Was that revealed in the episode?
Yup. They showed the guy in the black dress(have no idea what u call that), was her cousin Lancel Lannister..
