Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

It feels wrong to have a worst scene conversation without Little Fingers accent being involved somehow...

I think there was a wierd moment in the last episode where his accent flirted with "tap of the mornin" style irish

There was, it was his first line he said to Sansa (whatever it was). It was feckin' hilarious - Myself and everyone I was watching it with burst out laughing.

At least Little finger is devious and has been everybody so has that silly accent. Hes shady so hes trying not to give away his real accent. (Its the only excuse lol)

The Oberyn daughters scene was funny because it was a long way to say "Yes, lets go to war and kill the Lannister daughter before Jamie takes her".

It wasn't... it was a long way to say "I'm in" ... or just "yep"

I'm amazed that woman just stood their listening to her ramble on and didn't throw a spear at her head... I mean, they've just established that time is of the essence with Jamie Lannister there, and need to go kill Marcella ASAP, yet they have time for a one-woman monologue? And a terrible one to boot.

Compared to how cool Oberyn came across, like night and day.

I can sort of see why they did the scene like that (they were introducing three characters for the first time so had to establish their relationship with each other and give them something to do to mark them out from each other) but it really was very forced and stilted dialogue.

More importantly though, the one with short hair was hot.

She was like 12?

EDIT: 19 apparently, still looks like a 12 year old boy.

Sorry to disappoint Lambs but I avoid spoilers/theories like the plague. Im just a fan of the show. This has been the 3rd time ive rewatched seasons 1 to 3. I am starting to read the books (half way through book 1).

I play the Game of Thrones board game! That should indicate my geekness levels!
How often do you play it with less than 6? Tried any expansions?

God not this rape scene discussion again. About 171 of the 193 pages of this thread are the rape scene argument.

We normally play with 5 players, but we've had games with 4 and 6. The games no different if im honest. Dont think there are expansions?
I've found it horribly unbalanced with less than 6. When we play 4 we either cut out two houses in the South or two in the North and make the appropriate territories impassable.

There are two expansions. A Dance With Dragons that's strictly for 6 players and gives you new house cards and scenario. A Feast for Crows which is a 4 player game. Basically to balance the board out with a new set up for 4.

Well we tend to always play with 5 and normally it ends up being a bloodbath. The last game we played me and my friend were at war from Turn 1 till Turn 5 before we called a ceasefire. We ruled each other from winning (I got close with the 7 castles) but it was such fun. Non stop violence! I'll check out the expansions when I get home. They're for the 2nd edition right?

I don't think Sansa has to be worried about Ramsay. She'll probably be able to wrap him around her finger with all that Littlefinger has taught her about playing the game. Plus Roose won't want her harmed. He didn't want Theon harmed originally and Sansa is far more valuable than Theon.

It's Ramsay's girlfriend that will probably go after Sansa. When Sansa and Ramsay were introduced to each other, the camera pulled away and focused on her and she didn't look too pleased.

She should definitely be worried about ramsey, he's probably into some weird sex stuff like joffrey.

Yes, both for the 2nd edition. I recommend you googling 4-player or 5-player versions next time you play. Brings freshness to the game.

Do black people exist in the game of thrones world? i can only think of grey worm and missandei and i'm not really sure if they're black or not.

Most of the black and tan skinned people live in the free countries. Everyone in Westeros is white except for the slaves/whores which are usually tan skinned and exotic looking.

One thing that has bugged me up until this episode, why hasn't Jaimie figured out to use his metal hand before now? You'd have thought he'd have some kind of sword or shield-arm attachment to even the odds.

Or even just smashed someone in the face with it.
