Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

Current episode have a bit of everything I like in GoT... Tyrion's hilarious negativity in as always some brilliant dialogues, another political lesson for Daenerys, Jon Snow being in center of everything despite being modest, Jaime's back to business plus Arya and H'ghar reunited which was long awaited combo.

Good start of what it may be a quality season. Tempted as hell now by the leaked episodes... damn internet.

Agreed, and Sam wasnt annoying as @Annihilate Now! says above. His lines were funny as well as him putting Jon Snow forward to become Lord Commander.

Some great stories which are hotting up and cant wait for next weeks ep

Holy hell, Sam the Slayer was truly heroic today. Went full badass despite Snow giving him the look. Trolled almost half of the Watch.

The lad is definitely a better speaker than Deanerys... he would tame that dragon with a one liner.

Thought the episode was also a bit meh.

I'm glad Ja'qen Hagar(?) is back. He was one of my fav. characters from season 2.

The Danares stuff is tiresome. It's just not interesting.

Looking forward to Jamie's expedition to Dorne with that other guy (Brock?). Was hoping he'd take the Mountain along with him.

I'd like to see what's going on with the Boltons and Reek.

Just went into the book thread by mistake. :nervous:

Both thread headings look almost identical now when rushing in.

They did quote and laugh at your post there though Uzz. ;) Are you wumming?

Yeah, it's awfully similar. I mean, "Game of Thones" - "Song of Fire and Ice". And then there's the "BOOK TALK = BAN + REAL DEATH" and "FULL BOOK SPOILERS". They're practically the same! ;)

Edit: I'm tempted to peek in that thread, but don't want to ruin the rest of this season for myself.

They were laughing at the idea of bringing the mountain to dorne, wouldn't think he'd be too popular having killed half the Martell family at this point.

Considering I'm expecting some kind of Zombie Moutain, then no ;)
Forgot about that (thought he was saved as normal).

I maintain that it would've been more interesting if Jamie took the Mountain down there (under false pretenses) and then the Dorne guys said 'hey the Lannisters were willing to sell you out for us' and then the Mountain switches allegiances and then a big foookin' battle, people dying, heads rolling, etc etc I'm done.

Im laughing because Jamie apparently went with "Brock" :P

Who was the guy that asked for the midget head?

Finally getting round to watching this week after the Sky box fecked up, and one thing that is annoying me so far is Sansa. Is it me or has her voice suddenly got really deep?

Picked up Littlefinger's fecking accent.

Decent episode.

I'm glad Jamie is going to Dorn. Was worried he would be a bore this season stuck in King's Landing.

Dorn could be interesting. Probably more interesting that Daenerys' story which is dragging far too much. She should have unleashed those fecking dragons on King's Landing by now! Although, I liked how the old knight reminded her of what the Mad king did and the execution scene was decent. Bit sad though the bitch can't control her dragons, now seemingly can't control her slaves/people either.

Varys & Tyrion are excellent. The 'she ought to offer her cnut' line

Jon's become one of my favourite characters. I would've liked to have seen him go with Stannis but will be interesting to see him lead the Night's Watch.

Frustrating we only saw Arya briefly but that scene with the face-changing assassin dude has me excited about her story this season.

S5E03 - High Sparrow
Another fantastic episode. It seems to me oul Davos may have convinced Jon to reclaim Winterfell. Shit is going to go down this season. And so long Janos! Honestly took me by surprise when Jon Snow went all Ned Stark on his arse. "The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword"
