Television Game of Thrones (TV) • The watch has ended

In episode 2F09, when Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone, he strikes that same rib twice in succession yet he produces two clearly different tones. I mean, what are we, to believe that this is some sort of a, a magic xylophone or something?

Every time you see something like that it's because a wizard did it.

Wasn't the gate ripped open? We saw the giant charge it, but when they are all dead I seem to remember the bars being ripped in the direction the Giant was coming from. Unless I've got that wrong?

It had to have been or they couldn't have died or fought, but they mean the main gate anyway, the one which closed behind the giant first.

I'm talking about your reply to Paceme, isn't he talking about the inner gate? Your reply about them being crushed beneath it, but the gate is still standing just ripped open is it not?

Just read this from the shows creators about this Sunday's episode. Doesn't give away anything of the plot just of the episode quality but spoilered incase.

Benioff and Weiss said in a statement: "It's the best finale we've ever done, bar none. The performances from our cast, the direction from Alex Graves, the VFX work, the new [music] cues from Ramin Djawadi—all of it came together in perhaps the finest hour we've produced. We're immensely proud of ‘The Children.' And a little intimidated by the episode, because now we have to get back to the business of season five and figure out a way to top it."

Ah I see, yeah he was talking about the inner one. I was joking about them being crushed under gate, it just looked like they would have been because they were standing so close to it.

It closed as soon as he got through. Still, if that's possible, he could just hold it open for everyone else to pile in. Maybe the logic is that he was upset about his giant mate dying, so the adrenaline made lifting the gate possible.

Bran is the only one who can stop blonde tits. Who was the third name that Baratheon said when he threw the leaches in the fire?

In fact, you even see Jon and Sam opening the fecking thing at the end.

Havent watched this season's episodes before now. Ive loved this season. I think its a big step up from season 3.

-More small funny bits thrown in here and there. I found last season a bit too serious at times, while this one has had the right amount of funny moments.
-Less drawn out scenes with the boring characters. The Sam/Gilly thing has been a lot more tolerable this season for some reason, while it felt like there was less focus on Bran and co (which is by far the most boring part of the series and includes the worst actors). Also, more stuff have actually happened up at and around the wall
-Daenerys storyline is actually interesting now instead of the constant "hurr durr Im the mother of dragons and I defeat everyone and can do nothing wrong" of last season. Poor sir friendzone though.
-Oberyn was cool. RIP in pieces. Did The Mountain die btw?
-Laughed hard when Ygritte's final words were "You know nothing Jon Snow" :lol:That better have been intended to get laughs. Its like Arnold muttering "Ill be back" on his deathbed.

Kill that stupid fecking tyrion lannister please. Not wumming. I mean it. I have gotten all bored of his false bravado. He is in fact stupid and has made quite a lot of terrible decisions. Kill him and get a stronger character in please. Somebody who would actually give the bad guys a run for their money. Somebody who is more than just a glorified trash talker. He used to bevgood till the third season. Now he is pathetic. Kill him.

He killed a guy on the way to the Eyrie in season one and fought in the Battle of Blackwater. For a privileged dwarf, he's fairly tough.

Are you drunk? Poor guy has been sitting in a jail cell all season since Joffrey's death at the end of episode 2??? Only decision I can remember Tyrion making this entire season as a free man (or dwarf) is sending Shae off on a boat.
