Nor's Rafael - is he looking to move?
Good job, half a quote and a total leap to your own conclusion
Well, you said there was a "Wow" moment for you. All you mentioned in your defence of him was that and a subs appearance at Villa. What actually was the moment where it struck you this player had the potential to be a world beater? I'm only trying to get a handle on where you are coming from here.
He's not amongst the Premier League 25 man squad! That probably explains the transfer request.
Is this info incorrect then?Premier League 25-man Squads.

Since there is no Lindegaard I'm going with yes.Is this info incorrect then?

Yeah I know he's exempt (he's 21) and I thought De Laet was on loan. It's from the Sun too so that's why I'm really asking. What Red17 doesn't know is that Obertan is exempt hence the Rafael joke above.
Is this info incorrect then?
Im not convinced personally but Im sure he'll get the chance to prove himself properly before any decisions are made. A loan move is probable next season I think. My gut instinct is no. Hopefully Im wrong.
I don't think there's any chance of him being loaned actually, he's at the age where he makes it at United or leaves.
I think he'll make it.
Has there been any comment from the player/club about this transfer request?

Obertan is a strange one.
It's his approach play, tracking back and getting other players involved where he looks absolutely clueless.
Would have been happy if the rumours had been true.
That sounds more like inconsistent to me.He seems like he has a lot of talent but seems to completely lack a football brain.
1 minute he looks quite literally amazing and the next he's dreadful.
I'd be very surprised if he made it at United.
I'd say Obertan has a noticeably good footballing brain.
Now don't be cruel.I think you're confusing 'a noticeably good footballing brain' with 'a fecking big head'.
He needs an injection of confidence that's all.

He's a headcase, like Ben Foster. He's got talent but can't put it into action.
