Weird, stupid, hilarious, brilliant!
Well yes
Weird, stupid, hilarious, brilliant!
Just realised. If he ever gets a hat-trick, we can call him Obie Thrice.
Damn, I'm good.
Lets not go ober the top with puns.

I mean do it if you want to prove a point, but be a bit subtle about it. But since I missed it, I guess it was subtle enough enh?
Id like to see what his shooting technique is like, whether he has great power or accuracy? anyone know?!
I know for sure we have some serious potential here, I also love he aint affraid to stand up for himself will fit right in with giggs, roon, vidic, evra etc...
.
A lot of people get criticised for basing a players ability off some Youtube vids but
from all the vids that I have seen since his signing, one thing that caught my eye
was his ability to get into good positions and play a better placed player in.
If SAF can work on his finishing and end product, we might have a cracking player on our hands. Fingers crossed.
Has accuracy, but shooting from the ground is not his strong suit. If the ball is in the air, he can hit it with decent power, but if the ball is rolling towards him or rolling on the ground, he is around Anderson's ability.
You've based that whole sweeping statement on that one goal against the England U-21s, haven't you?
If not, please explain your basis for such a wild claim?
Well you're obviously a good judge of a youtube clip. That's exactly what I've noticed from watching him in full games.
Did that very well against CSKA, I thought. Beat a man, cut inside, rolled a perfect pass to Rooney or someone else in a dangerous position near the edge of the box. I was hoping he'd be played through with a rturn pass, but Rooney wasn't looking for it. Maybe he will next time they play together.one thing that caught my eye

I watched the Game against CSKA again and Obertan gave a lot of good passes to Rooney, the passes Rooney has been berating Nani for, and guess what, he did not do much with them, he either gave them a heavy touch or did not control the first touch well.
Does this make sense to anyone else or it it just me?

I reckon he meant Rooney not do anything productive after receiving
that pass.
Wild claim indeed, but knew either you or R_Nick will jump on it.
what you bringing me into things for?!
Why did you delete your post asking what was unclear with what you said earlier?
I can see why you understood.
Sorted. Boss walked in while I was typing and I hit the sent button in a hurry.
Now that I have more time, I guess he meant Rooney did feck all with the ball
once he received the pass, something that Rooney had been admonishing Nani for failing to do. Make sense now?
Wow, this is impressive, you must have experience working with people who are still learning English. Good job of putting what I tried to say very well.
Not many people on here actually are newer than me, and I don't 'follow' anybody around, but if two people sharing an opposing opinion to you leads you to that conclusion then you need to get out more.

To be fair, he's not the only one who's came to that conclusion.
Semberas elbowed him in the chest so he kicked him back and he was dead right I prefer to see a lad stand up for himself and show a bit of fire rather than lie on the ground crying about it for 5 minutes.
my only fear was his crossing ability, which after seeing his corners today i feel better about, very one-footed though
