Gabriel Jesus | Arsenal

It's never good to see a young player pick up an injury. Fingers crossed Jesus makes a comeback.

For such a bad season hes supposedly having Ageuro is sitting on 11 goals in the league, on course for another 20 goal campaign. Losing Jesus is hardly a nail in the coffin(cross) to their season.

Except Pep is not like us mere mortals. He measures a striker's performance by how much they run and how hard they press the oppositions' CBs.

Goals are so passé.

I feel bad for the lad, wouldn't wish that on any player and i hope he makes a full and speedy recovery (but doesn't find his form again obviously:smirk:). Hopefully from a United perspective the loss of him means the end of City's recent resurrection and they implode again.

feel sorry for this fella. exciting and good player. well, since I hate shitty, I'm very happy they lose one important player.

Real shame for him. He has had a brilliant start here, hope he makes a full recovery. Seems like a decent character as well love his enthusiasm.

Gutted for him, but Aguero is hardly a bad fallback option. Coincidentally he returns during Easter.

To be fair, we lost him after 13 minutes last night (at 0-0) and went on to win 2-0 in a tough away ground.

I'm pretty sure you were playing Bournemouth.

If that's a tough away ground, I hate to think what you think the top 6 away would be.

Why are people gutted over some city player getting injured? I'm sure he'll be fine. Good for us

Should be back for the run-in hopefully. We'll be fighting for 4th by then.

Bit Random that story, how did Denilson know about Jesus Injury and give updates to a Radio show? Random brazilian footballer knows of Jesus injury...

Awful news. He will miss two World Cup Qualifier and he has been arguably our best player.

Beat Liverpool this season. Drew with Spurs and Ars (3-0 up at one point).
Beat your lot down there last season IIRC.

They also lost to Sunderland and Palace, drew with Watford. 13 matches this season, 18 points with a goal difference of 0. Wouldn't call that a tough away fixture.

On their day they can be a thorn in the side of the 'top' teams as results have proven. Them struggling against others is irrelevant.

Well I do think that all results tell a story about their quality. Basic "Cup final" performances against the big boys, as with any small club, really. They can't all be "tough aways".

To be honest I was fully expecting us to beat Bournemouth yesterday and that's what happened.
We have a great record against them in the PL and their style of play seems to suit us but they did give us some nervous moments, King had a goal chalked off that many refs would have given and Caballero and Stones made crucial plays to protect the lead.
On another day Bournemouth could have got something from that game.

My source wasn't far off :smirk:

Wish the lad a speedy recovery.
Give us your source please. Seem like a good one. Was early & kinda accurate.

Quite unlucky. I do rate him, but can't wish him too much luck since he's in the wrong Manchester club... Okay. Wish he get healthy & enjoy his life like Ando. :wenger:
