Gabriel Jesus | Arsenal

That's his career path irretrievably damaged then.

You wish.

I don't think a broken metatarsal "irretrievably damages" anyone's career mate. He'll be back next season like he's never been out.

Didn't Rooney damage his metatarsal against Bayern in the UCL at the Allianz? He was never the same player after that. Wheras up to that point he'd been world class.

As with most things I'm sure it depends massively on a number of factors. Making some kind of declaration like we know the future is daft.

It was the hair implants that ruined him.

Rooney also damaged his metatarsal during Euro 2004, before the World Cup in 2006 and at the beginning of the 07/08 season.

He could become very marketable.

"He made me fall in love with football again," Moratti told Sky Sport Italia.

"Every now and again you need this new kind of player to reignite your passion and Gabriel Jesus of Manchester City is, for me, a player you have got to pursue.

"Messi is outstanding, but it's difficult to get him. But it's beautiful when you see a player who you believe has potential by the bucket load - and who knows what great things he will do. For me, Jesus is one of these."

Yeah how exciting so many marketing opportunities!!!

Don't have a dig at us about signing a player for marketing reasons when you've literally just come in here to brag about how marketable a player is.
It was aimed to highlight why the marketability of a player was indeed exciting, it adds value, the fact you took offence is on your own head.

Rooney begs to differ.

I also don't wish his career to be damaged, I hoped for Brazil's sake he'd carry on the way he was so they've got someone to compliment Neymar.

And would rather City were a harder team to beat so it feels better if/when we do.

Those photos look like a poor photoshop  (I know they aren't)

This a few days old but maybe not everybody yet seen it?

Boy Racer Gabby J indahouse.

Lol at some of the replies..

''Did he borrow it off Kompany''

''Needs find a cap that fits his peahead''

Does have the air of an attention seeking twat though.

I saw those pictures of him on the mobility scooter a few days ago. I nearly fell off my chair laughing.

If he's not even confident enough to start weight bearing whilst shopping he really is out for the season.

If he was recovered and starting to get his fitness back there would be no need for the mobility scooter.

wasn't that over a month ago though? I reckon he may be fit for the last week of the season but why would you risk it

Perhaps Pep needs a good end to his first season. He wouldn't want to end up trophyless & plays EL next season, no?
