Obviously he's lying. He lies more than he speaks. He is a lawyer and politician, but he knows perfectly well what he is doing.
All this he wants to stay bullshit is Barca trying to get United to pay his deferred wages. The players already know how much of a mess Barca is in. Imagine your boss telling you they’re deferring your wages for a time and then decide to fire you and don’t want to pay your deferred wages. Granted this is millions but still, the players can’t be too happy about it.
Seems like it, or a leak of our own stating stuff from our side. Seems United are clear to point our that stuff hasn't collapsed and we're still pushing.
Again if we hadn't had assurances from de Jong then we'd be stupid to carry on

Did you not read the tweets? United are pursuing this transfer due to assurances by de Jong that he wants the move but the wage issues are causing problems.
