Disagree on kind. At least I hope we're looking for this kind. He's a too big a club though. So the profile is wrong.
I believe you might be living in the past. This club is second tier. Woodward and the glazers have succeeded in making that so.
If im a player, why would i go to man utd? barely any chance of trophies, dysfunctional squad, non existant leadership. The only benefit is money. And alas everything we hated with man city and chelsea, we have become

If De Jong f*ks up here at United - his career is pretty much over/questioned isn't it? Failing both at Barca and United.

I can see why he wouldn't want to join a team that is unlikely to win.

So many. Firstly I like rains. Secondly I will get a lot of money by doing my bare minimum. Thirdly even when my time has come to go to smaller clubs I will get an extended contract just for simply existing. Easy money, minimum amount of work and commitment, less than other big clubs. Then if I am nice and likeable enough I can be a pundit or hired as a staff at the club when Im 40. Credentials? ex ManUnited player.

Because they play in a league where even if they are rubbish for a while, they won’t fall below 4th. Barcelona would have easily missed out on the CL in recent seasons had they played in England. A poor season here gets you Europa or even EC. For Barca and Madrid, it takes too much for them to finish 5th and below.

Likewise teams like Dortmund can ‘guarantee CL football’. You need to be good enough to challenge for the actual CL to guarantee CL football in England, whereas you don’t in any other league.
100%.

Before the end of the league and with a 95% probability, Frenkie De Jong will be transferred to Manchester United. It is a pure economic issue. Barça needs to sell a player who has not been top at the club

This Gerard guy is saying its nearly done, is he reliable?

Hmmm, thought it wasn't happening...

Are you kidding me? This is like my pipe dream signing. Isn’t Gerard Romero reliable or am I thinking of someone else?

Damn. He's supposed to he a bit of a playmaker in deep areas right? I've been wanting a playmaker at United for a decade so it sounds surreal for us to get one !

The guy's reliable but I'd still expect Stone or Ducker to shut this down within about 15 minutes.

The more I think about this the more I’m like how is this possible. He’s a stud, even for economic reasons, surely barca can offload others? Unless they think he’s not as much of a need/compatible with Pedri?
