Did they negotiate such clause though? It was the case for Christiansen and Kessié because they came as free agent but as far as we know it logically doesn't apply to their other signings.

How? 20m euros needed for Kounde, plus 70-80m for Bernardo? I think it's got to the point now where it is pointless trying to outline the benefits to Barca of selling. They will sell and have agreed fees with us. It's the player that is the problem, he simply doesn't want to leave.
That Koundé would be a free agent if they can't register him? That's highly unlikely, free agency is something that concerns FIFA, while the registration that we are talking about concerns the LFP and La Liga. Koundé and all Barcelona signings are registered to FIFA, they have no reason to forfeit the +50m that they paid especially when he can play in Copa del Rey and be registred for the CL.
It would be funny: free agents may be registered after transfer window is shut, so Kounde will probably have over 10 top calibre offers to choose from on the table. Everyone would be willing to get him on a free. And Barca will still have to pay for his transfer
