Fabrizio on the Utd stand has said that FDJ's stance remains unchanged BUT if he did decide to leave Barcelona Utd will be there to try and sign him
Just put it out here to those that still felt Casemiro's signing killed off those chances

What exactly is your point?
That we just very well might end up with that spending bill with how much the owners are desperate given all the unprecedented speculation regarding their ownership and the nightmare start to the season.

By most accounts it's being reported that they're willing to sanction a lot more money being spent before the window is up to back ETH. If he manages to get his targets in then we'll be close to that 300m for the summer.

Can see some big last minute deals happening across Europe, perhaps even see some names leave United.

*'* Anyone paying me £350k a week is certainly not my enemy but my best mate in the world!
That’s you. If anyone asked me to take a massive pay cut, no matter how wealthy I was, just so that they could sign more players and pay them the money I was giving up, publicly insisting that I do it, I’d tell them to get fecked. But that’s me.

Barcelona demonstrated club over player pretty strongly when they binned Messi and left him in literal tears.

There's very little chance FDJ doesn't have the same fate.

Guess the pessimism here is from United being overwhelmed by player power since SAF left.

Yet probably already out of the running for CL football next year. Even what Arsenal did last year without European football wasn't enough for fourth, and the four best team this season will be better than last year it seems.

This is such a sad mentality. 2 games in and already 'out of the running'.

Like the pathetic section of Arsenal fans last year, crying about being in a relegation battle after 5 games.

Also, football just doesn't go in a single trajectory. There will be dips in form for teams and players this season, no doubt about that what so ever and the fact there's a world Cup that is slap bang in the middle (which has never been done before) means I can't see how anyone can confidently say how the season will pan out at this point.

I'd rather be optimistic than wrong than pessimistic and right. If you've thrown the towel in already, what's the fecking point?

Good job folks like you seemingly weren't about in the days where we were relegated. Things can change pretty quickly in football, the last 2 months aren't solid evidence of the next 2 months.

Mope, mope, mope. Some of our lot need to fecking grow a pair. If enough people thought like you, literally 98% of clubs around the world simply wouldn't have a following.

Something absolutely has to be done this week otherwise Kounde can't be registered and they'll have paid 55m for him to sit and not be able to play for the entire winter until the january window opens....

if that happens, Frenkie is going to be fuked and the fans will turn on him

There's even been a report he can walk for free if they don't register him by the end of the window. Something's got to give surely

I’m not sure he would be played at all. They will still want to sell him ASAP.

If they think the stumbling block to that is FDJ refusing to leave, they are not going to treat him as a key player - that just gives him the green light to stick around and collect full dollar for the rest of his contract.

Started on Sunday.

Round 2 it is...hopefully more successful this time around.

They'll make them an offer he can't refuse I hope

Isn't he allowed to feck off for free if they can't register him?

Whereas we are the opposite. Even if you are crap, you have a job for life!

If they have travelled again, I would be surprised if the trip wasn't a success. I doubt they would be there again if completion wasn't a certainty or at least a very strong possibility.

yes....he can walk for free

it was the same with lewa, christensen and the other muppet they signed. if they couldn't get them registered, they could walk away for free
