It really won’t. Their very own FDJ thread only had about 9 pages a couple of days. Grew by about 10 posts the day orstein said they were linked.Chelsea's 'Caf in meltdown' thread will have some absolute gems from this thread when he's competing with KDB for the best midfielder in the league with them lot

Transfer markets are not really an indication of anything. The bookies odds still worry me. They don’t get it wrong too often.
Move to Chelsea is favourites at 6/5
Stay at Barca 5/2
Move to Utd 7/2

Do they not?? I remember during the Pogba transfer to United, Zidane said something in his press conference and all of a sudden Pogba was odds on favourites to go to Real. Didn't happen that way though. The bookies odds still worry me. They don’t get it wrong too often.

Very small market liquidity also means they are extremely volatile. They definitely always make a profit but these odds are moving based on the money being placed and that fluctuates based on the latest rumours. They don't have any inside information.
I'm pretty sure we on here could influence market odds if we created a very believable rumour and it took off online. Really does mean nothingVery small market liquidity also means they are extremely volatile.
Brownie is right of course. CL for one season will not be the deciding factor. But I agree with you that it is a factor, more so in terms of the coming several seasons. A player of FDJ’s calibre wouldn’t sign for, say, Brentford - regardless of the money - if he did he might never play CL again.Thinking this doesn't make it true. Players are undeniably and invariably attracted to Champions League football. What's more, it's painfully clear that, as things stand, we are much less likely than Chelsea to securing Champions League football. They won it two years ago and had a goal difference like 40 goals greater than ours last season ffs. Ofcourse it's not the only thing, but IMO you are taking a giant leap of faith that Champions League shouldn't be a decider simply because you prefer it isn't.
100% we could.I'm pretty sure we on here could influence market odds if we created a very believable rumour and it took off online. Really does mean nothing
The plot really thickens.
surely netflix have to bring out a documentary on all this.
Most also are capped at pretty small amounts.Betting odds are basically aggregated so the bookie makes money I think, so the weighting of the bet changes the odds.

FDJ is chinless but also sensible and will consider the club’s prospects for success and for CL qualification (also, money, Londoniness etc) and we can always hope he has the foresight to look beyond one shit result, largely caused by the shit players he will replace (when he comes here).
And let’s hope that your gloomy assessment of our prospects turns out to be mistaken - if FDJ does come, we’ll be transformed!
It's not quite as easy as that IMO.A good CDM and Frenkie turns United into a top 3-4 team. The defence won't leak goals and DDG will be a better shot stopped with the clowns that are McFred in midfield.
The issue right now is the glaring gaps left by them not being in the right positions. I think a RB will help and other players busting a gut to get back but the key central areas just ruin United every game.
Come on Frenkie... if this isn't proof enough that you're not wanted and they'll do anything possible to get you out... then I don't know what is
"You'll never guess what happened next"Barca have a script ready for each day that's left before the 15th August. Let's see where this goes next.

I read they have to register players by the 13th. What's happening on the 15th?Barca have a script ready for each day that's left before the 15th August. Let's see where this goes next.
Have you read the news today? If anything, worth lumping on staying at Barca I reckon. Wish I'd backed a move to Chelsea about two weeks ago, but 6/5 is just way too tight.

There are still many issues to solve in the team
At the end of the day, whether Frenkie comes to United will be largely based on whether he believes in ten Hags vision for the future and whether he can convince him that his future will be better at United rather than at Chelsea.A good CDM and Frenkie turns United into a top 3-4 team. The defence won't leak goals and DDG will be a better shot stopped with the clowns that are McFred in midfield.

The days of Rooney, Tevez and our forwards busting their asses to get back when they lost a ball is over for us.
Now when a player loses it, its like feck it, someone else's job ill jog nowhere.
So it seems Barcelona is selling Nico Goncales. It wouldn't be good for United.

I’m convinced Guardiola is the curse of this football club. Ever since he’s gone into management we’ve become shambles. Can’t wait for him to retire.

No he's a midfielder. He's an attacker, isn't he? Different position to FDJ, not competing?
Would be off the wage bill though. He's an attacker, isn't he? Different position to FDJ, not competing?
Drop in the oceanWould be off thecwage bill though.
Drop in the entire world's oceans hahaDrop in the ocean
We completely made up a Kaká rumour once when he was in his pomp. It made the papers as an exclusive and aggregators started adding inside source references and stuff. It was hilarious. Has to be in the classics surely?I'm pretty sure we on here could influence market odds if we created a very believable rumour and it took off online. Really does mean nothing

I think SMS is a smoke screen. I think we’re in for Rabiot, Frenkie and Arnautovic.
