He has a few years ago, for sure. But as he's getting more "known" on the Manchester United reddit, he's stopped. Basically he's just one of us. A United fan, he's got no insider information, he has no link to the club.

Norwood has never followed anyone who hasn't gone on to join the club. This has been the case since about 2015. He follows players a few days before they arrive at Carrington and isn't related to him hanging around.
Pretty sure this isn't happening, or if it does eventually its because our number one target fell through. The Shaktar president seems happy for him to go, the release clause is reasonable, if it was going to happen we would have had more movement by now. Can't wait to see what left field signing we end up making instead, I reckon it will be a midfielder currently playing in the Premier League.
